Having the same problem as everyone else here - I’m on Bonechewer.
Left a dungeon and got a loading screen to go back into the Emerald Dream but the bar never moved. I killed the exe and tried to go back in but when selecting Bonechewer no characters would show up. I could switch to Arthas and log into my Paladin fine but Bonechewer just wont work.

Same here, Hyjal. Other toons on different servers work fine
My partner had this issue too. He was doing a quest, and he tried to jump off his mount when he went to turn it in. The NPC didn’t load, and he was unable to dismount. He then exited the game to restart it, and when he restarted he just had a black screen on his main server (Hakkar). He switched realms and another character appeared available, but his toons on Hakkar are unavailable.
He’s repaired install, uninstalled and reinstalled game, etc and no change. Hopefully it’s fixed soon. He’s had that Hakkar toon since 2004 and is pretty bummed about it!

Was able to get online, but now I am trapped inside the Emerald Dream - the portal doesn’t work, hearthstone doesn’t work. Trapped.
Exited game. Logged back in, back to black screen again.
Same here. Ungh.
Really hope they resolve this by a little later this evening - supposed to run some dungeons with friendos.
2nd for me too been out for a bit now 
Just logged back in and i didnt got the black screen, everything showed up as it should be.
update out doing it now lets hope it fixes this
The black screen on character select issue has been resolved now. Please re-test.

It’s definitely not fixed. It just happened to me about 10 minutes ago and I cannot log into any character I have on Rexxar US.
I was playing my druid and all of a sudden I couldn’t do anything so I thought it was a disconnect incoming. Nothing happened so I had to alt F4. Logged back in to a blank/black character select screen and still cannot get on now. If I go to a different server, it’s fine. What is going on? I want to play…

In the mornings all NPCs stop moving cannot interact if you try to travel and/or go through a load screen you get disconnected and when you try to login you get a black screen only option is to alt-F4, happens to everyone in the mornings…
Daggerspine is broken again.
Having this issue right now, again. this is the second day in a row that I’ve been having issues every time I log on to play. (so far I’ve only been subbed for two days) so that’s two out of two days I couldn’t play the game I paid for. gg bliz. on Bonechewer realm if that matters

its still broken cant see any of my characters on aegwynn but can on other realms
