Yesterday, character restoration came back online; upon attempting to use it, the game froze on “retrieving character list” then crashed. I have run scan and repair, I’ve checked updates, Ive turned off addons… I’ve done all the things normally prescribed. Most of the deleted characters are pre-Warbands and all of them are on Eitrigg NA.
Have same problem opened a ticket got a copy paste so we are out of luck till they fix it … hopefully
Just had a reply to a ticket I submitted, which boiled down to the idea that the problem HAD to be on my end, and that I should just tear my rig apart and sort it out myself. It was mentioned by Blizzard CS that not enough people were having this problem for it to be a real issue. So…yeah. Yay.
