The amount of entitlement in this thread is truly impressive. By all meansâŚkeep asking for features. Thereâs nothing wrong with that.
Blizzard is in shambles. The changes theyâve made to the game have been to protect faction balance, and to allow the greatest number of people to participate in all modes of play on both sides as they can. The seal and BG changes both reflect this.
Youâve used this as justification for any changes are fine. Thereâve been some changes, so now this is my personal sandbox and the developers need to build exactly what I want!
Have you seen the male dwarf faces? This game is 15 years old. The graphics are terrible. Our clown suits are terrible. And you know what? We love it. Retail has exactly what you are asking for.
Classic requires developers to devote time to creating a feature that never existed in that code base, and whatever you think adding new features is never as easy as it sounds.
What your asking for requires resources that could better be spent elsewhere, especially NOW of all times. But Iâve already seen enough of your replies to know how youâll respond.
Selfish people who lack the ability to empathize canât really be expected to understand or care about what theyâre asking others to do on their behalf. Me me me.
If you put the same effort into your character that you did this thread you could have re-leveled a character from scratch with the new appearance or gender you were after. But that would have taken agency on your part.

i still canât believe they have things like mechanical gnomes and a barbershop âŚ
whats wrong with barbershops?
id rather just a service on the main menu than a barbershop tbh
Imagine reading that and thinking itâs a binary.
Barber shops lead to LFR
Itâs why the Americans invaded Vietnam
character boost lead to azerite neck
resing this thread
Its on its last legsâŚ
I love posts like these, because if a Blizzard employee with the authority to make feature requests happen were to read it, they could see just how hilariously wrong, hypocritical, and sickeningly toxic naysayers such as yourself are and far more easily empathize with those requesting the feature.
Posts like yours that make false claims while putting down others donât help you make a case, instead serving only to reveal how much of a condescending killjoy you are.
I really regret for the face wich I selected for my druid ⌠would be great if I could change it
The irony of you lecturing me about empathy, when I am expressing empathy for the developers is just icing on the BS-cake youâve built in this thread.
Think about them for a moment. They are overworked, stressed out, under paid, and constantly fear lay offs. Your response? Give uss mooooooooooorrrrreeeee.
Which false claims did I make, exactly? Which part of it was hypocritical? You made a bunch of unsubstantiated attacks, with no supporting evidence.
People here are demanding a feature be added to a game in maintenance mode. They attack anyone who attempted to have civil discourse with them. Youâd better believe my post was condescending.
Thatâs how I address entitled people.
And yet somehow you didnât realize that was intentional.
Source?
Source?
Source?
Source?
It seems to me that you are not one to talk. Start providing supporting evidence for your claims and Iâll do the same.
Just to be clear, since you also said thisâŚ
⌠in your earlier comment; the feature already exists; itâs called âCharacter Re-customizationâ. It cost $15 USD and was made available from the character selection screen shortly after WOTLKâs release. When purchased, it simply allowed you access to the same character creation screen we have in Classic now on your already existing character. I sincerely doubt it would take much effort to enable this in Burning Crusade Classic.
And yet it was you who entered this thread, on the offensive with guns ablaze, condescending toward anyone with an opinion that differs from your own. You never gave anyone here a chance at civil discourse, and if you had actually cared enough - beyond your own shortsighted aggravation over a feature that you donât want - to read this thread, you would have seen plenty of examples of civil discourse with people who - unlike you - disagreed with the topic at hand but presented their arguments respectfully, and were debated with respectfully in kind.
Sure, there are plenty of examples of the opposite as well, but youâre not the first person to enter this thread and dismiss the topic, insult people, and present patronizing half-baked alternative âsolutionsâ. Try empathizing with those you disagree with too before carelessly throwing the word around as if you truly resonate with it, such as the people in this thread who have been flamed repeatedly over a feature request by people similar to and even worse than you.
You need to get off your high horse. The point of this thread is to request a feature from Blizzard. The âbumps for blueâ show that the posters in support of this feature request are eager for a response from Blizzard, regardless of whether that response is âyesâ or ânoâ. Asking for something and saying âpleaseâ is not entitlement. I currently only see one entitled individual here, and itâs the person who thinks his dissenting opinions against those perpetuating support of this topic has any value here.
But ultimately my favorite thing about your comments is that you put on a facade of empathizing with Blizzard employees as a means to gaslight and guilt trip people who are making feature requests when the truth is that you simply donât want such requests to come to fruition in âyourâ game. If you cared even a little about Blizzard employees, then you would be in support of anything that could be monetized within their game. Store mounts, store pets, store toys, WoW tokens, server transfers, guild transfers, name changes, race changes, faction changes, appearance changes, level boosts, etc. Imagine how much more revenue Blizzard could bring in if such things were enabled in Classic as well. Their profit margins from WoW would be through the roof, and higher profit margins means less layoffs and bigger bonuses. But you donât want those things in âyourâ game, regardless of what benefits it might bring to Blizzard employees. You âlove itâ just the way it is.
You think anyone who advocates for any of those things should just âgo to retailâ.
And you donât give a damn about Blizzard employees.
Are you serious?
The source of all my claims? How about the MASSIVE LAWSUIT by the state of California just filed, that alleges horrible working conditions, and worse.
I am a software developer and live in California. I know what itâs like to be exploited. Some of these people live in their cars. One took her own life at a company retreat.
You think I donât care? You disgust me. Absolutely disgust me. F you. Not everyone is an amoral tool like you.
If you knew anything about programming youâd understand that porting features into previous interactions of code bases is much harder than it appears. It introduces all sorts of unintended problems at a time when the QA department is getting ready to strike.
Your ignorance is showing. No one gives a crap about your request, and I wouldnât be so hostile if people calmly explaining facts hadnât been repeatedly ridiculed.
Again, you disgust me. You can reply with another ignorant wall of text, but I wonât read it, or see it. You arenât worth anyoneâs time or attention.
