Wouldn’t surprise me one bit but it would be a terrible idea. Given how late this system was introduced and the fact that it will only be in effect for a few months at most it should be much more robust, even at broken levels like the BfA corruptions. At this rate the entire system feels like a waste of resources on their part and a waste of time for us to engaging in.

The rings are still a dps loss compared to the crafted 418s. Why would i use this.
Entire system wildly underwhelming, community finds a combo that does decent damage and Blizzard immediately nerfs it while citing its the mark they want others to hit.
Want some feedback Blizzard? Sure, I mean you’ve already gotten this feedback ages ago with domination shards but sure… Actually make use of your test servers so you’re not immediately nerfing crap as it hits live that people are sinking finite time-gated resources into upgrading without some advance notice of said nerf. Or make the system so we can get 100% of the fragments we put into upgrading back if we crush a gem when you inevitably ignore feedback

I am really bad at math, but I want to know exactly how much dps each stone was supposed to add, because with the humming, desirous, prophetic combo in a mythic it added about 3500 dps total. Which for an alt is a decent chunk, but I have a 389 weapon and only a 389 ilvl on my alt. So, I would imagine that for ilvl 412+ this is just trash to begin with. Why nerf anything? All of it needs like a 50%+ buff.
Perfect example of not understanding borrowed power. Borrowed power is parasitical, it doesn’t add to game content and it goes away. Gear doesn’t go away, you need gear because it improves you stats which a part of the games mechanics. Borrowed power is added on top of the mechanics and don’t become part of the system, you don’t upgrade them and they don’t carry over. This is a short time borrowed power – oddly it sucks balls for most people though.

Dumb take is dumb. This stuff happened when they worked from the office and they have been instructed back to the office as well. It has nothing to do with where they work and everything to do with the people leading. When you are told to ignore feedback and push content this happens. Or did you forget about Shadowlands and BFA and Warlords of Draenor?

Ah yes, Blizzard was perfect when they worked in the office. Every single expansion 10/10 right? Yes it sucks that the ring is pretty trash and really only good for alts but, that doesn’t ruin the whole expansion or even the whole patch.

I had more fun in those expansions by far than in DF at this point.
Played about 6 hours a day during all 3 of those xpacs. (have also never once in almost 20 years unsubed, or had my time lapse)!

Still not performing at the specified ilvl. Needs to be buffed to match it, or the ilvl needs to be dropped to where the max it goes of 405.

The defense gem package needs to be buffed. 12% better is not enough. As a tank, I’m still going to use DPS gems, especially given that the storm gem got a DPS boost.
