There’s a few glaring issues

  1. unable to rank 5 a 418 item without illustrious insight - I think this is because blizzard is thinking this is a BiS weapon we can’t just give it away so easily. I guess I understand that but even as a maxed out Blacksmith with best gear I have 43% chance ? that seems odd to me, maybe give us a higher % or have a way to display that to our clients it’s never a guarantee or have some way for clients to include extra mettle so we don’t have to use our own.

  2. Make it an option to auto decline all orders missing components, unless it’s a guild member or someone on the friends list. I see it way too many times people crafter or craftee get scammed or scam people. we need transparency. I always end up double checking with all my clients before I craft, but they should be able to see everything and not just blindly trust.

  3. Better rewards - I enjoy crafting a lot maybe think about a way to make it more interesting than just posting in trade chat and going over and over about same details. is there new interesting ways to crafting unique looks/ mogs ?

there’s plenty more but that’s just a quick start please don’t give up on this system because I personally enjoy it a lot. plus RNG is fun if you like gambling so I don’t mind it that much. I definitely feel awful when a client is back for the 5th or 6th time telling me this is the last of their gold and they really hope we proc this time. Transparency will make it easier and less scammy. also I don’t charge for any of my crafts but accepting any tips on area52 all welcome :slight_smile:

The work order system is sadly driven by the seller advertising endlessly. There are three players on my server where that’s all they seem to do - with rarer items that sell well. Buyers can put in public orders and don’t need to stop playing to spam trade chat. It seems to me sellers should be able to publicly post offers to craft various items as well without having to spam trade chat.

Yeah I myself have to market in trade chat otherwise no one really knows. I try my best to wait between posts and reach out to clients that seem to ask for specific services I know i can craft. I mean maybe there should be a reverse service sorta like the seller posting their craft ? instead of because the public order system seems sorta bad, especially since there are no minimum rank requirement.
