Well said sir!
Your statements are only opinions. What others are telling you are based on past history and facts.
Participation rate was low before LFR. That’s a fact.
Each side here doesn’t know the future, but I’d hedge my bets more on the side of losing raiding altogether because of a return of low participation rate. It seems upper management feels the same since LFR remains.
More than the bads of gd.
18% for only the first boss is hot trash of stats it means people barely are raiding Mythic vs all the other raiding modes in general and LFR is blowing it out of the water from that fact alone.
People will always drop early. Backfilling is important.
Yeah, because we all know it took 50 runs through MC back in nilla to get it done and get everyone geared lol, NOT! It truly was boring as all get out the 4th time through. Raiding was no picnic back then and i was so glad to see the changes in BC, and the changes up until they hit their high point in MoP imo. Then they turned around and ruined everything with the release of WoD and beyond.
Raiding was never great in nilla, just tedious. Once through and you basically had it down. It was more of a people management exercise than anything, wrangling 40 players up until AQ20 released.
You are not wrong. LFR raiding has MUCH more of a participation rate than all of the rest combined, because even the leets use to go in back until WoD to get filler pieces, and since Legion, they have been going in at (what they think) is and easy shot at a WF/TF piece, of which ive ever only gotten one piece back in legion.
What happened to “stick to the facts”? Because you don’t have a factual source for this.
Funny how you claim Blizzard makes statements supporting you, but don’t provide them, and outright ignore statements from Blizzard that go directly against what you said.
And now you’re pulling numbers out of thin air, while claiming to be “fact based”.
Well, I know it’s a fact that Blizzard said at one point that the vast majority of people who use LFR never raided prior to using it.
You can look up that one yourself, just like you’re asking us to look up all the quotes you claim exist but can’t provide. Only mine does exist, somewhere.
In fact, if 18% of players are running Mythic Uldir, that tells me the game is in WAY worse shape than I thought, because that means most of their casuals (by far the largest amount of players) are gone.
I’m reminded of the defining image of chutzpah: the man who, having murdered his parents, pleads with the court for mercy because he’s an orphan.
Yeah, i too can’t quite believe 1 in 5 peeps i see have killed a mythic boss. I would really like to know just exactly how -wowrarity.com pulls its data. Or maybe its just the prevalance of buying/selling runs.
The first two M bosses are easier than the last H bosses, so I think it’s just H raiders doing those two for extra gear.
Disclaimer: my raiding main is 2/8M in Uldir, and I have absolutely no place anywhere beyond that in M Uldir.
Yeh i think it should be changed too , it should be put in the Bin with Mythic and lets go back to 2 modes only.
And now LFR and Normals are s1. You can still improve, and you’ll make mistakes when you join Heroics.
And LFR doesn’t stop people from forming groups with friends. If LFR isn’t challenging enough, they’ll do normals. Normals are easier than Heroics and Mythics, so why aren’t people crusading against that?
This is going to hurt me to write… but what would be the point?
Every problem lfr brought to the game is now being inflicted to a far greater degree with warfront and event quests.
We are the point where lfr isn’t even effective for free gear and almost needs a buff since it isn’t the bottom of the barrel in terms of rewards compared to difficultly lfr has been surpassed.
Those who wish to play a mmo with progression pre mythic raiding. Grab your ticket for classic given the limited amount of servers it’s going to crash for the first month just like the first time it was launched.
is there a way to block green posters? certain ones do nothing but troll all day long. it’s not the same as with normal posters because the green makes it distracting to look away from.
It only crashed because it was new won’t happen this time.
right now, you can’t block people unless you know how to add custom css to a website (via a browser extention)
you need their forum id, which you can get from viewing thier profile and adding .json to the end, or if you use inspect element, you can get it by looking at the data-user-id element of the article tag around the post. then do the below
article[data-user-id=“12345”] {display:none;}
^^ just replace 12345 with the id of the person you want to hide, then no posts by that person will show to you.
I wonder if showing people how to do this will be frowned upon
Event quests are for questers and warfront are for people who like non instance content nothing wrong with that more chooses is always better not less and different ways to gear.
I hope you realize that LFR was implemented before Cross Realm Raiding and LFG were even available.
Your argument doesn’t hold water with today’s multitude of options.
It’s not actually raiding, how would it kill it?
