Change to Great Vault to Top 3

I mean loot is “scarce”. Maybe in those 10 runs you might get something.

It takes time to gear your team. If I ran at least 3 higher keys and spend the rest of that time helping my guild; not making that third slot loot that is more appropriate for them is what i’m asking for, and again I don think that is unreasonable.

If you can run 10 +10s or over running 9 +2s isn’t going to give you anything even with the great vault option being +2.

The game doesn’t care if you are trying to game the system by doing a couple of high keys and the rest 2s, or helping guildies out to gear up by doing low keys, or running a charity giving players who wouldn’t normally run M+ the option to do so.

There is no “well I’m doing something nice for my team option” that you can click so that you don’t have to do as much work as the next person.

Then you find your lowest piece of gear. Say it’s mythic +3. Then you make sure you have at least 10 runs that are from keys +4 or higher. Bam, look how easy that is to not get burn out all keys +10 or higher, still help people do gear up, and get 3 options that will be upgrades from the great vault!

The reward for running those lower keys with your guild members is more options from the “raid” section of the Great Vault. The Great Vault doesn’t just give options from running mythic+. It also makes for a less frustrating raid experience.

don’t help people, don’t run low keys. Wasn’t message from blizz clear

i’ve not heard an actual answer. I’ve just heard people defending the current system. Last two xpacs, you really only had to run one key a week to get your piece. Now you can run 10 and get three different options. I agree this is better, I just don’t understand why they made it the way it is and didn’t elect to just go with your top three highest keys…

because then you could just buy three +15s.

The current system slows boosting down be requiring multiple high level runs. People complain about boosting. This is a way to slow boosting down.

I’m kind of torn between should it be 1 3 and 5 or should we just accept that the 10 is usually going to be a long shoot side grade at best.

I’m still disappointed we have to do M+ and raid. They made the vault sound like you had to choose one activity per week and you’d get your choice of rewards, not grind the other content to unlock more choices.

the + table is where it’s at for my main tank toon (Brewmaster). The item level is also much higher than normal and heroic nathria.

You just answered your own question.

Why not choose the highest 3 keys you ran? Because then folks will only run 3 hard M+ dungeons for maximum loot gain, and spend the rest of the week doing +1 or +2 keys to fill out the rest of the week.

And you know that’s exactly what folks will do, so please, don’t try to evade and claim they won’t. You’d do it yourself if that was an option.

Maybe have your guild run 8s and 10s with you?

It’s absolutely mind boggling that almost a month in and people still don’t understand how the Great Vault works. Running lower keys with your friends IN NO WAY hurts your loot at the end of the week. All it does is potentially add AN ADDITIONAL piece of loot (lower item level) for you to pick from.

Because it is meant to be a reward for the people doing that content. The lowest one is easy to get, the middle one slightly difficult, the last one is meant for people who specialise in that content and is meant to be out of reach to most people who don’t do it as their main form of content.

I can’t tell if people are trolling in this thread, or just that dense…

I guess it is a good thing the great vault tells you exactly what your current reward level is.

/run LoadAddOn("Blizzard_WeeklyRewards"); WeeklyRewardsFrame:Show()

That will allow you to see the great vault and see your current reward tiers and what you need to upgrade them from out and about in SL.

Because then someone could just run three 15s and crush seven 2s to max out their chest, Blizz doesn’t want it to be that easy.

I’m just kind of shocked there are people who run this many dungeons / week. You must want to tear your eyeballs out 3 months from now.
