Champions of Azeroth

Oh, they already have the ideas. I’m not even kidding… wait for the mobile game. It’ll be set in the Warcraft universe, but not related to WoW. Probably something along the LK era, or Legion.

To make a mobile app it’s a 4-week class you can take from a Continuing Education class for free. In Java.

Now if these are the types of employees Blizzard wants to hire and train I suppose that’s fine. I’m just thinking that it’s a bit of a waste of talent.

Like the great game developer Dan Houser said, “If you wanna make money making games. You have to make good games.”

Dark Souls/Demon Souls type game would be awesome. Those are by far some of the coolest single player games I’ve ever played.

Yeah I know. I was kinda thinking another MMORPG could be made with those mechanics alone.

There was something about being so limited when fighting those bosses that made those games so fun. Also, with enemies in high leveled areas.

There was this thing that use to happen in WoW where if you went into a area that was to high leveled for you would get killed by the next incoming mob. And that does happen with Dark Souls as well.

But with WoW it’s a red number and an embarrassingly quick death that tells you, don’t do that again. With Dark Souls it’s a crazy OP enemy that you may or may not know how to deal with. Like that flooded area with the ghost or the graveyard path at the beginning. There’s still a sigil of hope that you can make it through even if it leads to a dead end. And I think if there was a World of Warcraft 2 they might want to use these gameplay mechanics for enemies, quest, and boss fights.

But to be honest with you I feel like asking Blizzard to make good games is like asking a World War 2 vet to fight a war when all they want to do is collect a retirement pay and go to Veteran Affair parties.

I honestly hope that Disney buys the IP to the Warcraft universe so something, anything will come out that isn’t just money grabbing updates.
