Unholy, definitely good. Definitely deserved a bit of damage reduction for sure.
But 20% across the board nerf has to be some sort of early april fools joke, right? I can ask my lawyer if we can sue, do any death knights want to join me in forming a class action lawsuit for this egregious form of violence being perpetrated against the death knight community who have put hours into gearing for raid/m+ patch?

This spec is literally cursed. 0 changes to our survivability for this upcoming tuning, or the 12.0.5 patch⌠blood is dead on arrival and will only be used in raid for grips when needed as usual⌠bdks are quite literally the squishiest and lowest dmg tanks this season⌠DB doesnt even beat SL with these buffsâŚ

Yes the two weeks Unholy was so strong was so long, nothing compared to 3 seasons of war within Disc, or that singular season in war within where Unholy was good. (what are you talking about?)
Mages literally always have a meta spec. DK struggles to even have a viable playable accepted spec. God help the whiners when DK actually shines. DK is the most hated; own it.
My experience so far is that in ST unholy is ~20-30% ahead of frost, but like 5% ahead in AE.
so a hard 20% nerf will put ST on par with frost, and AE far behind frost.
meanwhile Iâm told that other classes are on par with unholyâs current output.
So why nuke unholy instead of buffing frostâs ST ?

You are so clueless. Tell me which class was the top DPS spec, or second best the entirety of TWW? It was DK. S1 it was frost dk. S2 UH. S3 FDK again. So donât try to spew BS on the forums when you can easily verify the meta for yourself just by looking at logs.
Wrong. Mages do not always have a meta spec. They were not meta as much as dk in TWW. S1 meta was FDK Aug and enh. S2 it was UH and arcane. S3 it was fdk bm and ele/havoc. Your comment makes me feel like you are a casual player. You act like UH wasnât the best, or one of the best specs in the game for M+. The highest rank title pushers are using UH + arcane. You saying UH was never âgoodâ is complete BS. I wish I could see statistics on logs just to prove it, but their website is down for that season, so I can only look at the top percentage of keys.
Yes, without some substantial changes to UHâs cleave, itâs effectively dumpstered with current tuning.

Mages didnât get buffed. frost was left alone, and fire aoe was nerfed. Arcane ST was increased because it wasnât doing too well. UH ST was 30% ahead of any other, and both specs were 1st and 2nd top ST.
frost and arcane do very well becasue they dont need cds to do damage, all their rotational skills do very good damage
UHDK has poor damage outside of cds
Now== 0nly magic rdps are left as good classesâ theyve officially removed melee from relevance
