Mage and rogue, i die way too much. Sometimes I just forget I’m a mage or a rogue, and do something stupid like any other toon could do without getting mauled.
I have had my rogue since Vanilla. I think I got her to whatever max was during Cata. That was the last time I seriously looked at her after years of ignoring her (but refusing to delete her). I like the concept of the class, but I just can’t get into her.
It’s rogue. Something about the personality requirement rather than the game.
I look at them like the villain class. The kind of people that will wait all day under a bridge in STV hoping I’d pay a visit to Nesingwary
And they camp flags in BGs and we play games with sap. And most times are unstoppable openers in PvP. Also, they were the scourge of leveling in HFP on PvP servers. Zeth’gor was their favorite gank area.
The fantasy is there, but it’s not me.

There really isn’t a class I can’t play. Now specs on the other hand. I’m pretty allergic to healer. Even in FFXIV which has an infinitely easier healer job is something that makes me wince in pain. Probably because of my memories of WoW.
Actually a lot of my high end content hang ups come from WoW.
Warlock, Druid, DK.
Warlock - I can’t wrap my head around having 14 different pets that do vastly different things. I’ve had one hunter pet as my main since 2004. I only recently got a second pet simply so I could use the bloodlust/heroism haste buff when we don’t have someone else in the group to do it. I also don’t like the idea of DPSing via dots alone.
Druid - Jack of all trades, master of none. A little bit of usefulness is a dangerous thing.
DK - Same reason I’m not a fan of evoker. I don’t like the four different color coded builder/spender systems along side each other. Use your red builders to unlock your blue spender and your green builders to empower your orange cooldowns while your orange builders give you a haste buff to your red spenders which require a credit check going back three years. It’s confusing. Just let me put the ball in the hole.
Priest for me as well, I just don’t like their style of gameplay.
All the clothies for me; I just can’t stand how squishy they are.
DH, i have an IQ above room temp so im not allowed to play them.
Also i have spatial awareness so that removes me from being able to play DH.
Everytime I start a warrior, I just end up logging out after a few levels. IDK. They aren’t fun to me. ![]()
Your not wrong, warrior has like zero supporting abilities, and our original tool kit has been given out to every other class, and every time we get a cool unique class identity ability, we lose it down the line.
Envoker and shaman. One looks like a creeper and one ruined fun gameplay for the mess that is enhancement now.
If a Pandaren can’t be it, then I don’t play it.
none of the above…since vanilla ive been an altaholic who raided on all of the above classes.my work schedule has limited that down with the 80 hour+ weeks recently but i still keep on plugging along
the trick is figuring out each class and sub spec.
I have tried but I’m not quick enough to play a rogue. If you want to use a broader brush I have tried playing a healer for all classes that can do so, and failed miserably. I can only count on being able to heal myself.
Nothing horde related, can’t do hunters or warlocks as their minion/pets get in my way.
Hunter and Paladin. I’ve tried a few times and I just can’t. I get bored really fast.
- rogue.
- priest.
- paladin.
A list of specs I wont play too…including Elemental and Enhance. Cant stand either of them.
- Warlock, destruction
- Death knight, blood and Unholy
- Shaman, restoration
- Druid, Guardian for solo, balance for group
- Hunter, beastmaster.
thats my list of “will play these”.
other than that…meh
Shaman. I used to enjoy it back in Cata, but since then I haven’t ever really picked it back up. It doesn’t feel good to me.
Rogue and Death Knight.
Rogue because I don’t have the brain storage to learn their rotations until it’s muscle memory.
Death Knight because I suck at both DPS specs, I can do Blood well enough, but I don’t like tanking. My Death Knight’s job for now is to work on her BfA cloak and eventually try to farm the Mythic set from Ny’alotha.
