Cell phones?

it said off topic so let see here

i lost my phone, some1 said use find my phone to remotely erase data?

OK i did it said the signal is sent and once its turned on it will delete data(factory restore)

does that really work?can the other side stop it from deleting?

once its sent it said turn it on and it will start, so does it send the phone a yes or no?cause that will defeat the purpose of a phone that is stolen, the other side could say don’t do it?

Yes, and not to my knowledge. They would likely need to log into your phone to kill the delete code, and if you keep it locked properly they couldn’t do that.

Keep in mind once they power it up it has to connect to the network and the signal to delete would be waiting for it.

Edit: I think even if you don’t keep it locked the first thing it would see when it got onto the network would be the kill code so I’d guess it wouldn’t let you stop it regardless.

Some of this is going to depend on what type of phone it is.

google pixel 6, can i see if it worked or even if it was turned on

on the button of your device it says “recent location available” sign in

is that where phones location is now? i say location was 4 days ago at my house…do i need to sign in to see where it is?
