I want to celebrate but the prominent Illidan and the complete lack of Warlocks in the picture make me too sad
The only thing I care about is if there are any cool in game items/mounts from the virtual tickets.
ngl though why is Illidan in there? he hasnt been in the last couple of expansions might as well just add all the new wow npcs that nobody cares about
Because Blizzard hates me
nah blizzard is just taunting us wih illidan.
Don’t worry, Illidan will be back in 13.0. Metzen even said that we “are not prepared” for that moment.
Surely that’s not how nostalgia works.
How is a ticketed event operating on a first come first serve basis at the door? Isn’t that what the tickets are for?
I’m there if they set up a real life version of the Barrens.
I so hope I can get one, I live 20 mins away from Boston! Would be my first Blizzard event I would ever be able to attend!
Also very annoying the original announcement made it sound like it was going to be part of PAX East but it’s just taking place at the same time and is in a separate building several blocks away.
Its the warcraft anniversary, he is a major character in warcraft
Also can we get an idea of what’s happening at this thing? Is it just a 4 hour meet up of people who play WoW?
Warlocks just aren’t iconic. Two mages though.
We are iconic as heck!
It’s just that Blizzard terminantly refuses to let us be the Expansion Hero…
Guldan was a very heroic young orc who overcame his physical disabilities and became beloved by his people, probably.
No wait, that other thing. Enslaved his people to demons.
That’s the thing. The only proper Warlock we have that could be our Class Representative is a villain.
Worse than that, he is a minion.
There’s nothing uniconic about Warlocks, Blizzard just seems afraid to explore the Class to the fullest in lore.
You need to learn how to summon people irl
Gul’dan a minion and a master, depending on the situation. When Manaroth has the upper hand, Gul’dan cowers and scrapes and bows out of the scence.
Later at Hellfire Citadel, he raises him from the dead and commands him. Roles totally reversed. Gul’dan has 0 pride, he’s a total opportunist.
Oh, warlocks are bad by the way. Demons, too.
