Actually it is. Every single mount that they introduced during these anniversary events has been guaranteed. No RNG involved. Just simple things like finishing a timewalking raid or something else involved in the anniversary event.
And your candy analogy makes no sense. You do realize that we are adults and we can buy candy anytime during the year… we don’t have to knock on doors once a year to get the stuff…And that they actually sell candy year round… you do know that right?

I would love to celebrate the anniversary, but I am unable to log on because of an ongoing problem with the launcher. Already posted in the appropriate tech support threads and tried all the suggested fixes to no avail. Can’t even successfully uninstall/reinstall the game at this point.

That is why I keep asking why a mount at 17th year…usually its been every 5 yrs 5, 10, 15 when a mount and or battle pet has been offered up for the WoW Anniversary…me thinks they are putting this mount it to draw back player subs for at least 30 days so they can get the mount…

This is not accurate. The game really lost many players according to Bellular’s data. This is why the last patch was more of a x.3.5 one.
Enough with the recycled old content (time walking). I want new content.

When I saw the name Illidari Doomhawk, I grinned deep within my soul.
Then I looked at it. It’s just a grey dragonhawk. It doesn’t even look special.
I expect some green or purple glow or something. Why Illidari? Wait… would Illidari even use a grey-looking thing like that?
