You know how MineCraft has an offline sandbox mode where you can just build anything you want with no limit on the bricks you have?
It would be really swell if there was a program that was an offline sandbox mode for player housing where you have access to all the items and can just experiment with different building techniques, maybe even give you an itemized list of what you used in the build and how much it would cost in game to buy all the items.
I’d certainly buy it at a reasonable price.
FFXIV has something kind of like that, I’ve never used it but I heard you could also somehow import your builds to your home through a mod or something.
For housing… I want to make a public library, but between the housing controls, gold, leveling, and itemization it hasn’t come together just yet. A tool like you describe would be so amazing since I could try stuff out before spending tons of gold on it.
