Now you’re just denying facts, so WHOM is hitting the brick wall here?
Oh this is kind of funny. Hern do you support Nightborne Druids?
I mean, it’s clearly you.
Could have been worse. You could have waited 15 years for a combo that always made sense.
No one is hitting a brick wall. The expression is “talking to a brick wall”, the brick wall being you in this instance.
Yes, 1. they’re just a magic changed version of Night Elves, 2. we see them using nature magic schools, 3. they just got adopted back into Night Elf society. Also I predict you’ll try and use this as some kinda gothca.
Denial is ugly, why demean yourself so?
I’m not the one denying canonical stuff here…
YOOOOO this is actually hilarious. El oh el
So this is absolutely a scenario of rules for thee but not for me! hahaha
Your butt is all for lore being added and warped when it suits your wants lmao
I can’t even lmao, this is way too rich.
You’re just the one denying that cultures change.
Told you, how predictable. I have already explained why Draenei and Night Elves aren’t the same, yet you refuse to acknowledge it… typical.
SMALL parts of them, not their very cores, as is the case with Draenei.
Uh. Nightborne are Horde factioned.
No dude, it’s actually hilarious that you support Nightborne druids. Like it’s actually hilarious.
“Cultures evolve for the ones I like only!”
Actually cackling.
Take it up with Blizzard, they’re the ones who used the Nightborne joining the NE as why they can learn Arcane and be Mages.
You’re assuming how much I care, and doing so wrongly. We see Nightborne practicing nature magic, so it’s a confirmed thing, and makes sense as they are still technically Night Elves.
True, but the logic would be the same for a child of Argus who didn’t really have a choice in the matter when their parents left.
Realistically speaking, there’d probably be a few player-aged Draenei who are resentful of being dragged on a universe-spanning exodus that might want to dabble in fel just to thumb their proverbial nose at Velen.
LOL.
Nightborne are literally the Highborne. The folks that rejected all things nature because it was beneath them dude. The only Higborne that are Alliance are Night Elf mages.
The Highborne rejoined the Night Elves. The Nightborne joined the Horde.
Nightmare Druids aren’t botanist. I assume they’re like Druids of the Flame that started off as regular Druids.
Botanist are like a combination of mages and scientist.
But whatever, I don’t know why we’re arguing about this and I regret saying anything. Put in butt elf Druids. I don’t care.
Just want to throw my 2 cents into the mini debate before not participating further.
Warlocks for draenei could work.
It would be a bit weird but nothing too lore breaking.
Light forged Warlocks would make zero sense in the lore at all.
By nature of being lightforged, there is no way they would turn to fel and shadow.
There is no way to twist that combo to work.
They are practically the same, just a cultural political divide, yes? Along with a bit of magical modification?
And yet they have gardens they can tend themselves yes? Using natural plant magic?
Bro. You need to stop trying to debate things as lore and then not understand it. Picking flowers in this game isn’t what makes a druid.
I care tho.
The Highborne that rejoined the Night Elves are vastly different than the Nightborne that joined the Horde.
It’s not the real world ! It’s a game GAME with rules and directions to play.
My take on the rogue/mage/priest being all races was that we are probably getting some more alliance combos and they wanted to reveal that as a hype thing later. They took pains to make sure that the same number of class/race combos were available for both sides. Since the current situation is 2 more in horde favor, I would guess we’re going to get a few individual additions.
My best guesses for that would be:
-
monks being available to all races next: +1 combo for alliance since for whatever reason lightforged draenei were the only allied race that can’t monk.
-
one race being able to be a paladin or shaman alliance side possibly more with additional horde options opening up. Best guesses would be something like two or more of: night elf paladins, lf draenei shaman, human shamans, kul tiran paladin, worgan shaman, night elf shaman, kul tiran warlock. Possibly a druid option too since its 3:4 alliance to horde.
-
In addition to these there would be a few horde ones because only having alliance ones in an announcement would create negative hype so one or more of the following: Highmountain warlock, highmountain paladin, nightborne paladin, mag har paladin, orc paladin, undead shaman, blood elf shaman, mag har warlock, zandalari warlock.
Could be wrong, but it seems like this is a very easy “break this for emergency hype” glass.
