Like the title said. I upgraded some purple 480 pants and got a tier piece. Cool… however. Its Season 2 pants with season 3 perks. So now it counts for neither set towards bonus. What gives?
This sounds like it is working as intended, unless you’re saying that your ilvl 480 pants are being downgraded to ilvl 400-450.
Season 4 is a “victory lap” season, where the player base voted for the best DF look and bonuses for each class spec, resulting in a mismatch of appearances and bonuses for many classes.
Similar to any other tier, set bonuses are not compatible with previous tiers (despite them potentially being the same bonuses for this season).
So, going to assume you’re Resto, based on the set bonus. You got the Season 4 tier pants, then. 480 ilvl, season 2 visual, season 3 set bonus. That’s… that’s just what you’re working with now. They had votes for both, and for druids, season 2 won on the appearance, and season 3 won for the set bonus for resto druids.
Granted, yeah, the description is a bit confusing, because they didn’t distinguish the sets themselves, but no glitch here, just the way its working now.
