A class trial starts level 60. You’re completely able to do the quests with a class trial character. My friend and I lacked the worldquest on the class trials. So I’m not positive if this would be the same with everyone if world quest appear before level 70? Beats me. It was just something I noticed but maybe it won’t work for everyone.
So I’m level 70 and i just went through the main story in all the zones. Now I have to do all the reps to do the other stuff. I’m At the “picture perfect” quest but the raft disappears. I also have world quest unlocked, and it would seem that i would have have cataloging world quest unlocked as well…which is weird since I’m currently working on the quest chain to unlock it.
But what I’ve notice is when I’m about 100 yards away, i can see the raft, and as soon as i get close enough, the world quest “ba da da da” drums go off and the raft disappears. So i think there is some sort of crossed wires phasing issue with the world quests…that I’m not even suppose to have…and i wish i could just turn them off…

Make a class trial character and do the regular quest. The world quest is bugged. Either class trial character or character that is less than lvl 70. Must have picture perfect quest to do.
bro , u dont understand that is not letting do the regular quest… and the world quest either… class trials have all World quests unlocked… that ¨60 class trial¨ that you are saying got all world quests unlocked.
Well I am so sorry but you didn’t really clarify and I had no idea what you were even talking about with a class trial being level 1 to 10. It worked for me and a friend. Was just trying to help. Our trials did not have the world quests unlocked whatsoever so forgive me if there is something that we didn’t do to unlock them account wide or something. Maybe it doesn’t help you but maybe it’ll help someone else. Sorry for being an annoyance.
and how do u even create a class trial now? theres only 2 options standart and pandaria remix.
When you create the character normally there is a class trial checkbox under the class selection. Create one and get in the Picture Perfect quest line.
Huh, you didn’t even make a class trial. Maybe it’ll work if you did. Characters level 69 and below are completely 100% phased from level 70 players. I believe that’s another reason for this world quest’s bugginess as it’s 2 different phases. Hence the reason the raft magically disappears when you land next to it.

Another weird aspect of this while trying to figure it all out, my lvl 24 mage goes to the raft spot, the world quest pops up and the raft disappears.
Hm yeah that is unusual. I think there must be something with WQ that you’re able to do then when you’re lower. Maybe they’ve become account wide or you talked to someone. I have no clue. Been out of S4 so perhaps they did change something and I was just lucky enoufh to not have the WQ account wide /shrug. It’s definitely an issue that needs to be resolved regardless.
Success, a trial class character with no access to world quest was needed. I just had to create one, and get into Dragon isles, do the first quest where you rescue 3 people, fly to ValDrakken to talk to Doc Nanners to start the Catalogers quest chain. Then fly to Dragonscale Basecamp to continue the quest chain where it would eventually lead me to do the quest “Picture Perfect”…which i was trying to do on my main, and started this WHOLE FRIGGIN MESS…and I got the achievement Ready Aim Catalog! AND BOOM…i can see the raft on my main!! AND I CAN NO LONGER DO THE QUEST!!! /facedesk

From what people are saying, it seems like this may be a Warband/regional related issue. I have done this on several characters. I did it in the Ohn’Ahran plains (where I think I have done the main quest-line) on a low level character, but in Waking Shores the raft fades away as I land.
Now that I have “exploration mode” unlocked, whenever I start someone new Sendrax asks me to check a map and pick a zone to explore. I am pretty sure I picked the plains on this guy. I am going to go there and see if I can pick another zone (Waking shore this time) and see if that resolves it. Will add edit if it fixes.
Edit : turns out my situation was the opposite of what I thought above. I had chosen The Waking Shore as the zone from the map, not the plains as I had though. I picked up the main questline for WS and finished it off. Moving on to the plains. Hoping that it would fix the quest. But nope. Raft still disappears when I land. Probably broken in the plains now too.
Tried flying away, it disappeared too quick so I tried to logout and spam click, missed it a couple of times and I think it crashed the game when I got it to work; it closed the game window.
I was able to ride the raft after flying away a bit then rushing back and it still didn’t count. Could take pictures and everything…
