so beta is live and still no indication of atleast one wrath server if we donāt want to participate in it. Oh well, it was a fun 5 years of progressive classic. I suppose Iāll write up some cringey headcanon of how my main fell during the siege against the lich king in my head and delete my char.

It is a bit of a dilemma. I donāt like the original cause no Belves/Draenei but I love TBC/Wrath. Cataclysm is often seen as the end of the classic era - but then again it isnāt really possible to entertain people forever doing the same raid for 10 years. So I think it makes sense.

Tbc was too popular, so they shut down tbc servers and force transferred all era characters that had not been locked by the account holder to era. I wouldnāt expect them to do anything different with wrath.
I was on my druid when that happened so the swim back was not bad
I am excited for Cata Classic! What we have right now is NOT what Cata was. I started playing during Cata.

Thereās one thing Iād really like to see happen with Cataclysm Classic. They have much more time and a dedicated team, so why not release the raid that was cancelled for Vashjāir? Wouldnāt you like to be able to see that place that couldnāt be finalized and finally the end of the story with Neptulon?

Iād very much like to see this raid released as content at the end of Cata classic, to offer a new and totally exclusive content for players of this version, and to come and offer it during a bonus retail season to keep players waiting between WW and Midnight.

No need to make a new version like SoD, but it might be interesting to offer content that hasnāt been deployed as an end bonus.
ā¦ that would be a new version though, thereās not an āundeployedā raid theyāve just been setting on collecting dust, it never got made.
Weāre talking about an expansion that made a lot of players leave and set the forums on fire, so I think itās a bit of a shame not to improve this new version and release a raid that might make players want to try out the content. We donāt even know if SoD is going to continue with the other expansions and offer the same content, so we might as well take advantage of the arrival of Cata classic to do something new.
Iām not sure, but would it really be a bad thing to have add a raid cancelled as end-of-expansion content?
Oh I donāt disagree with any of that, the opposite even.
my rebuttal was on the notion that they had a lot of stuff setting around when in reality anything added/implemented would be new.
