I find this statement is very funny and wrong, phase 1 wrath is where classic raids had most player then classic population simply fall off after ulduar ironically suppose to be the best classic raid.
But anyway they should jump straight from wrath to mop. Anything beyond MoP is not worth replaying, especially wod which is literally worst version of cataclysm

Not really, I dont play cataclysm at all. If I wanted difficult raid I would raid in retail. I dont you know why you seem offended.
I just dont think people play classic for challenging raids, wrath phase 1 and 2 shows that. The population peaked at phase 1 and fall off significantly during Ulduar

Also these raids aren’t hard they are just hard for classic players, these raids are typically a nerfed version of how they were 14 years ago.
Are the players from 14 years ago better than classic players?
The raid log peaked at wrath phase there are so many video already. You can watch Wille on youtube. I dont know why, you are denying this, clearly cataclysm is more dead than wrath.

Yes I agree wrath was a very popular expansion you’re saying it was popular because raids were easy.
You don’t see how your fixing the data to fit your narrative?
Cataclysm has a bad reputation even though as a classic to me it’s better than wrath so far.
I remembered really liking Cata, especially having thought back on it being the best first tier of any expansion, and I think it lives up to memory pretty well.

Was nice to play Cata again, i played Wrath of private servers and joined Retail during Rise of the Zandalari patch.
So, im skipping the Dragon Soul patch, MoP, WoD.
Totally playing Legion again.

Cata’s been fine, T11 just lasted two months too long. The actual raids themselves were fun, engaging, and rewarding. Firelands is looking fun as well.

That guy’s a liar. He raided WoTLK Naxx every single week even through the winter holidays. He quit raiding this tier almost a month ago.
The vast majority of Classic players enjoy easier raids and anyone denying that is ignorant or lying.

January 10th was a gdkp under the levels logs.
The guild was already over a month before this, you can even see the time we raided before that which was December 27th which was also a gdkp.
There was a whole missed week btw between those 2 weeks.
December 14th was Levels LAST actual raid, the January 10th was a gdkp, look at the roster and compare it to the December 14th roster.

People keep giving Wrath Naxx crap for being easy. Yeah…that’s exactly what it was supposed to be: An easier, more accessible version of a raid that people weren’t able to see in it’s original iteration. For Wrath Classic, Naxx was a victim of it’s circumstance. Everyone playing Wrath classic had already farmed the crap out of Naxx40 in Vanilla classic, so of course it was boring! They weren’t going to completely redesign a tier in classic just because people had already seen it, there’s not that many people working on the classic progression team.
Wrath was ultimately all about Ulduar and ICC, both of which I thought entertained the crap out of me. I was pleasantly surprised by how fun ToGC was and how easy it was to do quick alt runs, way better than I remember in original Wrath.
As someone that almost always preached weekly raiding and going full sweat, I have pleasantly enjoyed taking a back seat to prog raiding in P1 of Cata and enjoying the casual GDKP scene.

Vanilla wasn’t released 25 years ago, and Cataclysm came out years after Vanilla, so it’s impossible for people to have been engaging with the content for 25 years. Unless you’ve got a time machine you’re keeping secret from us.

Right the re-releasing of a raid was horrible even in OG wrath it was bad.
If you’ve been playing the same game for seven years and are upset about it, perhaps it’s time to reflect on why. It’s likely that there was enjoyment in the experience, otherwise, it wouldn’t have held your attention for so long.
Cataclysm isn’t considered classic. Although the expansion is enjoyable, it doesn’t fit the “classic” definition. Classic refers to the original world; anything post-Cataclysm is categorized as Retail.
At the end of the day Cata would be more enjoyable if they actually pushed out the content faster 6 months of Phase 1 is what really killed the fun for most players.
Even if the players didnt fully clear heroic knowone wants the only choice for raids to be the same 3 raids 12 bosses ( for those not pushing heroic full clears) or 13 bosses for those who are doing full clear heroic raid content.
at what point does this stop and people just go play retail instead
When blizzard releases wrath era everyone will play it for the next decade. Every week for 10 years they will run ICC. Then retail will be ended but for decades after retail is gone wrath era will still be going. Years after years everyone will do a weekly ICC run forever and ever and ever.
