I saw at least one report on my realm Discord from another GM that their guild’s tab 7 and 8 were affected. My guild doesn’t have an 8th tab but it sounds like it’s the 2 new Cataclysm tabs that we were having all the permission reset problems with previously.

Gotta admit, I’m actually really jealous of the quick response and open communication here on classic side. In current wow our guild bank issues got stonewalled so hard the last blue post was over a month ago. Over two months and not a single thing restored for prettymuch everyone, and the awkward silences just makes it worse.
I’m glad everyone here got such a quick resolution, you’re luckier than you know. Random data corruption is no joke. Some people have been losing not just items this current expansion but also tons of gold, currencies, reputation, honor. All without any resolution in sight.
A lot of things broke with this last patch in Cata, this one is just the most egregious I would say. And while I do appreciate their acknowledgement to a couple people in this thread, this problem seems to be very prevalent and I haven’t seen any actual resolutions yet. I just got a response back from my ticket with an AI reply so… I’m cautiously hopeful at best.
Correct; the game is not loading data from the 7th or 8th guild bank tabs right now. The data’s still there*; it just isn’t loading it. We’re working to get it working again as soon as possible.
*Do not deposit anything into tabs 7 or 8 even if it let’s you. This won’t necessarily cause any losses, but you’d have two items in the same slot and that can get a bit weird and make it tricky to get one of them to load properly.
