Anyone else currently finding their game so laggy that it’s unplayable, while running any addons whatsoever, but having it be completely fine when they’re all switched off? There was a huge memory leak that happened with MoP Classic recently, that I feel like bled over into retail.
I was playing for a few hours yesterday before work and the WoW client was using 10GB of RAM that was steadily climbing by 10MBPS. It started out fine at around 5 or 6GB, but slowly climbed to 10. It eventually got to the point where I had to close the game, reopen, and it was fine. Having an idea to just disable all addons afterwards, it was completely fine. No leak.
Is this just part of the strategy for Blizz’s war against addons? Or am I crazy? I haven’t been able to do any M+ because I can’t even use DBM anymore.
