If you want to survive, you have to know which side of the bread the butter goes on.
That’s true of all businesses.
It may not always be pleasant. Sometimes a company will take a product a direction you’re not happy with. That’s perfectly fine, because that’s business. You’d do the same in their shoes. Of course there are lines one has to draw in a business on what is considered acceptable business practices.
Remove PvP servers, too. They have no business in WoWMMO’s.
Also assuming the vast majority of players aren’t happy because of a post on a forum used by an extremely small part of the player base is a bit silly/

Its the races and the personality of the game.
ESO is much more bland in a lot of ways…other than mechanically.
If ESO had more colorful races to play id never look back .
oh yeah…I sometimes spent a day just farming mats, even if Im not making much gold on it. Just fun to do.
Guaranteed the ‘real’ raiders bashing others in here arent taking time out to just play the game. Its no wonder blizzard is smart enough to not cater to these players.
They usually are. When you pin them on one absurdity they’ll just revert to another one. Lather, rinse repeat.
I think the game should be text based only. Let’s go back to our roots.

You’re totally right about races/classes in ESO. Always felt way too limited and pigeon holed. Also never felt like tanks were given a big enough tool kit to tank! Loved tanking in that game but just felt like I was a one, boring trick pony.
I think I quit before that so in a way I dodged the bullet and bit the dust.
Gotta give the game credit to have you still here participating even after you left. Something to be said about that.
I have nothing against the majority of Mythic Raiders. I mean, some of the bigger groups DO put out videos on how to beat bosses. They don’t HAVE to. They WANT to. Because many of them want competition. To push them to higher levels.
I’d call that Healthy Competition. Which is of course a Good Thing (tm pending).

Grom, that’s only a valid premise if you’re in direct competition with those other players. As a L2 equipped player in PvE please help me understand how other players with L2 gear devalues yours.
A proliferation of L2 gear in a player vs environment situation doesn’t make life any harder on the players with that gear, they’re not fighting each other. PvP, gear dependent PvP, is a completely different matter.

Theguild I was in for a few months was about 1000 members who did a lot of raiding. NOT ONCE did I hear them bashing casuals or LFR.
They were more interested in THEIR game than mine.
They were very helpful in helping me get some things I needed to get for my main account, including the rest of my heirlooms.
I doubt they had a single member as toxic as these people who keep making these troll threads and those who agree with them
Yes, and those healthy players generally have more in life to worry about than out gearing a casual player. They aren’t the ones here, starting multiple posts a day lately to try to take away what others enjoy. No matter what game you play, how you live your life, you will encounter these types everywhere. It’s up to you to realize what kind of person deserves your time and respect. These do not in my book.
