i started in the 80s with personal computers, if you want to call them that. Commodore 64 then the 128…there was another sinclair something or other, I think that was earlier, but not a lot of memories about that one.
I loved the little stretch of time there when some games pretty much required making a boot disk and restarting your PC with it so you had enough base memory 
God the hours wasted trying to tweak it out for a few more KB of memory.
