This game is built around rewarding harder content with better rewards like other mmos. It’s different in the fact you cant get those rewards unless you do the content. Best advice is to ignore the fact gear goes beyond 200 ilvl if all you want to do is non instanced stuff. That is if you want to keep playing
Exactly. I had more fun in classic raids for that reason. Content itself was stress free, the difficulty was in getting from my butt, reserving a time slot, and applying to a real raid group. No toxicity due to failed mechanics, no raging, everything was smooth.
I would love that kind of content in retail, between solo and more serious organised.

People need to regrind their gear.
The system, though I personally find it bad, will still be pushing those lower keys.
Also people can do mythic 0 to get gear they can upgrade while farming lower keys for valor if they can’t get into anything higher
I wouldn’t worry about that much… at ilvl 200 you can pretty much ignore most of the games mechanics in dungeons, up to M+5 or six
You should really try some mythics, I just started doing them recently and they seem pretty easy compared to past xpacs normal heroics
just keep it simple like +5’s, you get 210’s in your vault for doing +5’s, that’s pretty much charity gear

But there are at least some people who just invite the first to apply for low keys (myself included). If you see someone from Velen listing a 9 or lower key, apply! It might be me on an alt just inviting whoever signs up.
Well, one of them isn’t asking for extra stuff to be handed to them for doing nothing…

The lower keys will be relevant, but not to the high io people even on alts.
If you have KSM you don’t want the gear from a +2-10 dungeon, it costs far too much valor to be worth upgrading. Even on an alt you will still let your main IO carry you into a 12-16 to get a 207-210 item which is much cheaper to upgrade.

Its a videogame…not questionable at all and nothing in a M+5 requires that much reaction time. I know plenty of older people who run higher M+ just fine.
actually he didnt reject the M+ suggestions so he isnt entitled. He just felt the “resume” building was silly for a game, which it isnt.
If by “up my resume to play a video game” you mean “play a video game” then yes, I agree.
You will not, EVER, get the best loot in the game for doing world quests, and you shouldn’t. If you’ve hit the cap of trivially easy, braindead, mindless, afk completable, content, it is time to either progress or find a better game.

Yeah the renown raise is supposed to happen in the next big chapter patch, and flight somewhere in that raise. We’ll know in a few months.

I’m in the same boat (I managed to get to ilvl 200*, then got walled, though the last world boss gave me a nice present). And basically I just accept that this is my current limit til next season (hopefully). So what I often do at this point is start an alt, until new stuff appears that I wanna do with my main (I’m currently trying out fire mage).
(*I initially hit my gear wall at ilvl 199. But I was determined to break that 200 barrier so I bought gear at the AH.)

So you can get 1k anima, your calling, the available dailies, any WQ’s desired ($$,xtra anima,gear. ect), all of your souls and weekly/daily maw quests, all of your soul ash, and any other “trivially easy, braindead, mindless, afk completable,” content done while afk and asleep? Or does that take you hours of work? Cause if you can do it afk then your botting. Otherwise you ARE putting in work. Should we go as far as to say that someone plowing a field isn’t working cause they are doing something easy? Should we say that the trash man isn’t working because it’s mindless? Should we say that a coder isn’t doing work because it’s physically easy? No we don’t do that because time put it = work just as much as difficulty level = work. Your attack on non-instanced content just shows your ego and only accomplishes to make you look dumb. thnx for playing have a nice day.

I can see arguments both ways. But lets be honest about one thing. Raiding and M+ often involve a lot of unpleasant interactions. And some people a nice enough as people that they don’t like killing another player’s character.
You should really try mythic dungeons, I know from listening to the grinders on the forums they might seem challenging or difficult, but they’re really not that hard
and for 15 minutes of work in an HoA +5, you’ll get a 210 item in your vault
Many of the " extra mechanics " they added in mythic SL, are actually old mechanics that were standard for normal heroics
Get your feet wet, it’s easy
What your asking is logical so because of that it will never happen.
