Cast ranged aoe on self?

I used to have a macro for my blood deathknight to cast DND on myself like a conscecration.

I recently received

Its a ranged AOE on use trinket.

Is there a way to make a macro that will cast this under my feet.
like a conscecrate with out deselecting my target?

/castonself or /castoncharacterlocation

or /use big red button
/castat player location.

Would appreciate the help

You’re just after a reticle macro

This is the macro you requested but I don’t recommend it as it seriously limits DnD’s versatility.

is there a way to get rid of the alt portion.
so it just always casts at my feet.

I am also looking to use it to “use” a trinket.
if that matters.

#showtooltip
/cast [@player] Death and Decay

Would i change that to
#showtooltip
/use [@player] Razdunk’s Big Red Button

It appears that as of 8.1.5 trinkets can use reticle conditions.

Trinkets cannot use reticle conditions, they're restricted to spells.

Sorry, missed that you were referring to a trinket.

This trinket does use a recticle…
100% it is a castable recticle at distance.

just like rain of fire or blizzard or DND.

No, it’s an item not a spell.

Just like Cyclotronic Blast doesn’t obey the SpellQueueWindow, trinkets are special and not in a good way.

how about

/use [@player] 14

?

Again, no. The one and only option is to use the trinket and then click where you want to place it with the reticle.

/Use [@player] 14

works great for future reference.
dropps it right at my feet.
works great for additional AOE pick up.

messed with it last night in a few war fronts.

Interesting. Could you try [@cursor] and see it drops it where your mouse is?

Hmmm looking at the wowhead comments it appears other ppl are using it with [@cursor]

Glad I was wrong about not being able to use trinkets with reticle conditions
