Again - many of us have no problem with changes that fix bugs or close exploits.
Making respec trivial does neither.

Yeah but I figured in light of the AV changes which removed original game functionality this would be the time to ask. I mean since its all about making changes just to make people happy now.
Itâs functionality thatâs subject to game-breaking manipulation. Thereâs no such problem with spec costs.
Premades were an original part of the game. The4y did nothing game breaking whatsoever. They functioned as intended. One faction couldnt deal and Blizzard caved.
i like how its a warrior making the post
Thatâs not true. I have just as much reason than you do for respecing.
Only thing dead is your logic.
Nah. They were never as bad as this. Not even close.
Obviously they werenât functioning as intended or the fix wouldnât have been put in place.
What do you mean? The intent of dual spec was to allow people to partake of more aspects of the game right there from blizzard. Hybrids in particular are impacted by spec compared to pure classes.
This really isnât hard to understand.
Yes but hybrids were never intended to be equally good at all their specs. A feral druid can still heal.
Well first blizzard disagrees with you and did during vanilla.
Second no duh hybrids arenât supposed to be equally good at all their specs, thatâs why the specs are specialized for certain roles. Which is why hybrids are more incentivized than pure classes to actually use multiple specs.
Third, guess what a feral druid is not doing while healing? If you guessed tanking or dpsing you win!!
Yeah but I figured in light of the AV changes which removed original game functionality
Considering that the 1st (original) iteration of AV had no queue numbers at all, I think you would be wrong there?
Or do you mean some other original game function?
Premades were an original part of the game.
Yes, and for Horde too
IN GAME, with no queue dodging to result in a 3 hour wait to have to deal with.
NOT just for whom ever has a lowest enough queue time to dodge and snipe queues
Find a Group
Alterac Valley is all about teamwork. Make sure you are in the general channel (type â/join generalâ), where allied players often communicate the latest news about the battle. Players also usually join together in a raid group. Ask to join the raid group in general chat. If one does not exist, you might consider starting your own raid group and asking other players to join.
Your attempt at splitting hairs aside (AV had numbers in vanilla.), people formed premades the same way. Join and look for the number you were assigned. It only took hours to find a que before battle groups were added, also in vanilla.
We didnât have to look for queue numbers, youâd be lucky if 2 AVâs were active.
And no, originally AV did not have a queue number at all, you just queued and accepted, and it was most likely the same AV you were in last night.
And no, we did not form premades the same way, by dodging queues and creating empty AVâs
Firstly, there were never enough AVâs running to do that, until the very end of vanilla.
Secondly, we made our premades in game, by forming our raid party
and then having the raid leader queue after everyone was in.
And then we prepared for the long wait.
We also did not AFK vote people out, just because we wanted someone else in the BG
We also did not lie and report them for game violations they never did to cause them to disco and get chat banned to try to force them out of AV because we wanted our friend in.
etc etc etc
10g is too low. Respecs are a VERY valuable gold sink in a game that starts ramping up with inflation. 25g Cap imo. Fair.
25g cap wouldnât be that bad. It would balance out too since people would be more inclined to switch specs due to the low cost.
