Cap respec costs at 10g

Vanilla is what people wanted. Or they would have asked for something else

Define vanilla. A lot of people like Alexensual were demanding patch 1.1 instead of patch 1.12. Which means 1.1 talents, 1.1 itemization, and an actual blizzlike timeline.

A lot of people…
Got a source?
And vanilla means vanilla. That means anything 1.1 to 1.12 is fair game. Post vanilla 2.0 and beyond no.

That doesn’t cover the entire classic playerbase sorry.

Just because some people are trying to piggyback and make classic something else doesn’t make them right.

Do you have any surveys of your own? Where are all these people who love spell batching and leeway? Never met any.

200k people signed a petition for vanilla. Not modified vanilla. Vanilla. Just because other people want to piggyback and change it means friggen nothing. We tried it the pro changers way. It lead to retail.

200k people signed a petition to bring Vanilla back. And no one agrees on what version of vanilla they wanted. Some wanted patch 1.1, others wanted patch 1.12, and some wanted something else entirely.

The point is, pretty much everyone who plays vanilla wants some kind of unblizzlike change. And almost no one wants spell batching or leeway.

Why do you need to respec that often? I raid, dungeon (DPS; shocking RIGHT! or healing), and PVP as Holy/Ret (31/20; respectively). My warrior tanks just fine as a ‘sweep strikes’ tank (will be 21/10?/17?) ((The “?” indicate I may drop the last 3 into either Fury or Protection.))

Specs aren’t suppose to be changed a couple times a month. They’re suppose to define your character in the manner in which you want to play.

Tell me when in vanilla respec was capped at 10g

Going to need a source on ecweyone wanting non blizz non vanilla changes. Your survey has less then 10k responses. That’s not even 5% of the people who signed the petition

And spell-batching and leeway existed throughout vanilla, and yet virtually no one wants it.

Also, you do realize that polling never asks every single person what they think. Polls take a small number of people who are assumed to be representative of the players at-large.

And? Doesn’t matter. Vanilla is vanilla.

5% isn’t enough to represent everyone. Furthermore the entire goal of classic is vanilla. From the get go. A poll of 5% is not enough to make decisions for everyone. If you dont want vanilla I got good news. A game exists for you.

200k people signed a petition for vanilla, and all 200k people want a different version of vanilla.

I linked you a poll asking them what they wanted. Find me a poll where a majority want leeway and spell batching.

You got a source for that. Because the petition said VANILLA.
not modified vanilla. Not vanilla with changes. VANILLA.
you want vanilla with changes I got good news for you.

Retail exists.

Would the outcome have been different if everyone voted? Do you think the majority of players want leeway and spell batching?

Does it matter? You are comparing background stuff to actual gameplay changes. Go ahead
Get rid of leeway and spell batching if it will make you guys happy. Respec costs impact gameplay and serves a purpose.

If you want more you have retail. It even has free respec for you!

Then you agree with me. Most players didn’t want actual vanilla, they wanted a modified vanilla. Some want minor changes and some want major changes. And the survey I linked shows you some of the changes they wanted.

Moreover, modified vanilla is exactly what classic is.

Because using a non gameplay change is a TOTALLY VALID COMPARISON.
YEAH GET OUT OF HERE.

And no. Sub 10k person survey with most the changes only garnering 6k support means Jack crap.

You’re representing a HUGE MINORITY and twisting and lieing left and right.

I’m not condoning a leeway and spellbatchung change. I’m saying if it will shut up you pro changers I’ll go for it. I’ll consider that an easy win.

You get changes (no spellbatching and leeeway) and we get no gameplay changes and you guys shutting up.

Somehow I dont think you’d stop asking for changes though. So no. You get nothing.

You want changes? There’s a game with 13 years worth of post vanilla changes. Go play it.
