I agree. I think if completing Part 1 opened flying in X.1 patch for the launch zones and then Part 2 unlocked it for the mid-expansion zones, there would be a whole lot less wailing and gnashing of teeth on the forums.

Was good cardio. If I could have hooked my interface to the treadmill I would look like Atlas now. Or maybe died of a heart attack I suppose.

I like pathfinder, but id rather it be available from the getgo so you can start your rep grinding and such right away, as opposed to doing it all, then blizz does the scummy thing of adding a couple reps with the final part of pathfinder ._. Basically, I like the first time danger of leveling in a new world without flying, but once I get my first playthrough done, I just wanna knock it out on alts, so let my main get to grinding pathfinder right away and be airborne in a couple months tops

pathfinder wouldnt be too bad if you could just finish the quest objectives without the rep grinds. you still experience the story and you can still time gate it until another questline is released to finish it and you see the xpac from ground level for a time.
but flying should be made available much earlier in an xpac’s life than near the end.
What? This is what an MMORPG is. Maybe you should find another game if you feel like this one is such a chore.

I’ve never honestly cared about pathfinder. I never went out of my way, or did anything special to get it. I always just unlocked it by doing stuff…
If we get flying cool, well if not then whatever. Kinda makes sense we’re not able to fly in shadowlands from the getgo anyway.
