There’s definitely something around there that you need to complete to return to the default world state. What other quests are in your quest log? Have you recently abandoned any?
I abandoned every quest except the two I need to turn in, I also did every world quest in the immediate area. I have also logged in and out and deleted my wtf, cache and interface folders.
One of those quests was likely part of a quest chain that introduced that phasing. I would recommend going back and completing those, see if that clears it up. Similar to the Legion intro, once you’ve started a quest line, you’ll need to see it to the end in order to return to the default world state.
Wouldn’t abandoning the quest revert the phasing? I can’t remember exactly what the quests were or where I originally picked them up, and there’s no ! icon on the map.
If it were a single quest, most likely. But if it’s a set of quests that culminate in a changed world, abandoning a quest halfway through isn’t going to invalidate or nullify the work you’ve already done prior.
I abandoned both turn in quests, went back and redid the earlier quest chain. Now it won’t let me accept the original quests from the NPC. Same issue happens with him phasing away. It seems Forward Camp is stuck phased no matter what I do.
I need to do these quest s for the achievment so I can play Zandalari, so it’s more than a bit frustrating.
It might be the Naga Attack world quest that is phasing it. I just had it happen to me as well. Soon as Toki makes the announcement about the Naga is when I reached the Forward Camp. I then seen all the NPCs vanish in the Camp.
Even completing the WQ doesn’t seem to phase it back in. We may have to wait until the WQ ends on its own.
The only other cause I can think of would be tied to Xal’atath Questline. But that seems odd since the one location where we go in Vol’dun for that is near the top part of the map.
