On my demon hunter I can’t hide my helm or cloak. I click on the hidden option and instead of giving me the usual slashed eye symbol over the gear it changes those pieces to Illidari blindfold and Illidari drape. And THEN it will not even let me apply. It displays the items as hidden on the character model in the preview screen and it shows me the cost for transmoging the gear but when i click apply nothing happens. I can transmog my helm and cloak to other items, but I cannot hide them.
you can’t “hide” those items.
they are the default for “hidden” with demon hunters.
Doesn’t explain why I can’t apply the transmog

Im having the same problem, I can’t hide my cloak.
I think its if you equip one of the new korthia items. Basically stops you from transmoging on some chars. My char once I unequip the helm, transmog works. Transmog doesn’t work on any of the new korthia gear on that char. Haven’t really tested it to see if it is every char since most of my other chars are 225+.

It seems to be all cloaks for me.
this is happening on a level 55 character who hasn’t touched korthia yet. for me it’s random appearance unlocks that seem to be related to demon hunters, ie class hall gear and dh starting gear, and i can’t hide my cloak or helm
This is happening to me as well. Its just my cloak and my helm. I can transmog them to other items, but I cannot hide them…?
A couple of times I couldn’t transmog my weapons, but that seems to be working now.
This has been happening to me as well. For me it started as soon as I equipped a korthia helm, but I believe there’s another cause. For now though I’m rocking this mask so I can at least look somewhat presentable in my transmog!
It’s been this way since like 8.3 or longer. The “Hidden Helm” in transmog tries to transmog to “Illidari Blindfold” instead, which costs gold and since shadowlands fails to apply at all.
Same thing with the cloak. it tries to transmog to “Illidari Drape”, shows a gold cost and fails.
