Bit of a weird one, here… I cannot see a staff on either of my undead male chars, but only during actual gameplay, the character info screen, and when looking at the adventurer’s guide rewards in Org. I’ve reloaded the game and turned on and off all addons and the problem still persists. Not sure what to do. In the transmog menu and the dressing room, they are visible.
If you change the shoulders and/or cloak, does it fix it?
I know some of those items stop weapons from showing.
Nope. Just double checked. Changed shoulders and staff.
Can not see them while sheathed?
Nope. Not at all.

Do you have any buffs on your buff bar that indicate a profession tool is active when it happens? A profession tool could hide weapons or other transmog during and after crafting or gathering, but will disappear in combat, and will not show on your character in the character pane.

Removing your cloak doesn’t fix it?

The bag you have transmogged in your cloak slot hides sheathed weapons on the back. Casters do not cast with their weapon unsheathed. Ergo, you’ll never see your weapon unless you manually unsheath it, and even then it will automatically sheath when you start casting.
