Can't roll on lower ilvl tier tokens anymore

I understand someone getting a tier piece is vastly more important than someone finishing up their transmog collection of the armor colors, but if you(blizzard) are going to do this, then you really ought to make owning a higher ilvl piece of tier unlock all the lower ilvl colors.

I don’t super understand why you brought back group loot just to start putting restrictions on it. I hated personal loot, and I hate that it still exists in m+ and I can’t loot trade freely with my friends, but what is the point of group loot if it’s got rules?

Can anyone confirm that if I were to leave a tier piece in the bank and went into raid with a worse piece, would it let me roll need on the tier token or will it know I have one in the bank?

Sir, we live in a society.

Doesn’t matter if you wear it or leave it in the bank, it still wont let you roll on it anymore.

People who feel entitled to loot ruin everything again

It had rules before the added the “tier token” rule…

I would suggest having alt duplicates and just having them do the lower difficulty content and vault loot for mogs. It’s a sad but unfortunate workaround for us transmog hunters. But we do use alts for more chances anyway.

It is pretty wild people think they should be allowed to deny people rolling on gear

What if you have a duplicate and even it’s too geared to get tmogs?

My alt:

Make a third alt and keep at 359 item level kek

You wait an xpac or 2 to come back and run the raids for the tmogs you need like everyone else normally does I guess

I think if you use the catalyst and mog a lower mythic+ eligible gear it turns to the LFR piece, then mog for color, not 100% sure on this though.

Edit: wording was strange…

And this is why LFR will be an even bigger dumpster fire than before. Higher level players will avoid it because no one is going to waste their time in a dumpster fire without a reward of some kind. If running LFR for transmog is no longer allowed then Blizzard needs to give LFR transmog when you get a similar piece of gear from normal or above.

In fact I’ll go a step further and say that whatever gear you get at normal, heroic or mythic raid should unlock that transmog for the lower levels.

That’s what I do. Though right now I still can’t solo BFA because they make dumb mechanics like the ball thing on the last boss of Uldir.

I won two greed rolls yesterday. Just give it time and you will have your shot

Those complaining they’re losing tier to someone better geared than them can do that just as well.

You can use void storage to hide higher iLvl gear from the gear check so you can roll on lower ilvl mogs. You do lose enchants when you do this so you might not want to void storage your weapon with a rank 3 Sophic Devotion.

This has been badly needed for quite some time.

Still waiting for bfa raids to be soloable. That’s like 4years lol.
