Can't "right click report" after leaving the bg

some ppl are getting clever and only dropping cursing bombs at the very end of bgs, so we would’ve clicked exit, right click his name there is no longer a report option when we are not in the bg.

I mean profanity is against ToS and will get them a suspension and possibly a ban if it’s not their first offense if reported.

And frankly some of the people I’m teamed up with are so terrible it’s a good thing if they get a suspension for dropping profanity the entire match.

Yep, they do it seconds before the game ends and leave the game real fast. Kinda funny because they won’t say it the entire bg but are afraid of a chat ban so they say it the last 5 seconds.

i swear like a sailor and i never get banned. but someone get some nurses in here and some blankets! you guys look like you need some medical care and hugs

No ones reported you then. But using profanity in a public channel is where you are likely to be reported.

Usually its when they whisper you after the BG is where people get chat banned. Unless they just spam chat with curse words in BG chat. Its more when its a specific whisper

eh, maybe not. the supreme court just struck down the vampire law in hawaii related to guns, the main takeaway is that private businesses can’t restrict your rights just because you are on their property. one could assume this also counts for the first amendment.

they dont even bother to misspell anything, just straight up cursing the worst way possible.

It is, hop over to Customer Support forum and you can see all of the blue posts which say it is.

The 1st Amendment isn’t a thing in video games.

its supposed to be, times will change

edit, 3rd amendment too

It won’t, it’s not a public space and must be moderated per ESRB guidelines.

Yeah, so it goes…sometimes its fun to see what they are talking about

hasn’t mattered since Schwarzenegger v. Entertainment Merchants Association (2011)

The forums are not a debate for what speech you can and cannot use.

The fact of that matter is you can be actioned if someone reports you using profanity.

the fact is they are not supposed to.

Then by all means go and make a thread in the CS forums and have your viewpoint shattered.

It will not end well for you.

btdt, doesn’t change the fact that silicon valley isn’t supposed to be regulating speech with account actions, they have replaced the physical public square with a digital one. even the word “forum” means a public place to speak.

This is not X/Twitter or a social media site. This is a T for Teen game and requires moderation.

If you don’t believe me ask on the CS forums.
