Just hit 111 with my DH and am trying to finish up Legion stuff before hitting BFA. Currently doing the high mountain quest to get the hammer in Neltharions Lair but cant queue for the dungeon. When i bring up group finder it only shows my locked options for BFA. Had no idea i had to do a dungeon at the end cause the others havent been dungeons so far. I just want to finish these quests. Currently dont belong to a guild. What am i doing wrong?
You’re not doing anything wrong. It’s just the way Blizz designed it. You’ll have to go into custom groups and try to look for or form your own group from there. More than likely though, you’ll probably have to solo the instance when you’re a high enough level/gear to do so.
The game isn’t designed to go backwards into an expansion, especially not Legion, if you are 111 now you should go to BFA content and forget about what happened before then.
You have to unlock the new dungeons or at least do the new quests to get enough gear then you can queue for the new stuff.
So those of us that want rep are just screwed and we shouldn’t try to unlock allied races in Legion even though they were added in BFA?
You don’t grind rep in dungeons, so it’s not really a punishment. You can do world quests the whole time you’re leveling from 110-120 if you want.
I hardly ever see nightborne, is all the requirements still in place? that would be unfortunate, blizzard should make all allied races for free at this point, even vulpera, why must people be exalted or revered with something.
Even so, it feels like we are pushed into going to the next expansion and I’d really like to go back and finish the Legion stuff-which I hardly started due to the WOW anniversary double-experience part. It’s not the first time this has happened with a character. Blizzard, it would be really nice if we’d be allowed “back.” I’m not even high enough level to well-qualify for the BFA dungeons.
As far as not earning rep, that’s fine, but we can’t finish the quest lines.
So just finish getting to 120 and solo the thing…
i’ve tried that, but i petty much died instantly. i don’t know how to get better gear other than through quests (which i’ve run out off and am now stuck with dungeon and raid quests only). got any suggestions?
Unlock world quests. There are always equipment quests, and if you’re as bad off as you describe yourself almost every one will give you better gear than your current.
The amount of times this thread has been necro’d is pretty fascinating.
