I was fishing with my max level characters, didn’t realize battle net had a low level character chosen lol
Can confirm entering a follower dungeon and then leaving works. Couldn’t fish anywhere, tried relogging, tried going on another character and back, but nothing. Only once I read trying Follower Dungeon did it actually work. I just queued the first dungeon and left as soon as it loaded, was able to fish for the rest of the event. I believe it started for me when a mob aggroed me while I was fishing and it canceled the cast.

Happening today in Aj-Kahet Zone, dismisses cast as soon as it lands in the water. Sure wish any portion of this game would work correctly.
