Can't find Healers for your STV event?

I do OK on my disc priest, but it really is about coordinating in discord and not running off and dying solo like call of duty people so often do. YOURE NOT GETTING A CARE PACKAGE THIS ISNT CALL OF DUTY, PEEL YOUR HEALERS, nerds.

This is kinda my overall point, it’s not terrible with people you can talk to and communicate your needs. But pug groups need to do a better job of anticipating a healer’s needs or a healer is just gonna stop running with pugs.

Shielding your boomkin with 2 rogues on him is gonna net you more coins in the long run than trying to tag people and letting him die.

You will always get coins from an enemy that’s been killed by a friendly you healed in that instance of combat. If you don’t heal them you aren’t going to get credit.

Which is a great reason to use POM and not homonculi in STV as POM’s gonna jump around for you and help you get multiple tags where homonculi is gonna attack one person and you have no control of who gets the killing blow.

Factually and documented, incorrect. Plenty of video evidence. Healers currently are not properly receiving tag credit and have not been since launch of the event. It is very inconsistent.

Please show the documentation as proof.
We don’t even know how getting blood works properly for anyone yet. As a dps I will steal a killing blow on someone below 10% and not get blood sometimes.

Then why are you confidently claiming the priest tagging people instead of healing, because you’re 100% sure healing will get him blood, is incorrect?

Mostly feels awful because all others just operate with the omega head indentation.

No peeling or CC or anything. Just rubbing the last 2 braincells together to press 1 and 2.

Rune abilities need toned down, by a lot.

Lava burst doesn’t need to be Killing people all by itself
Nor Arcane Surge
Nor SW:D
etc…

There’s just a stupid amount of damage going out from abilities that (I thought) were meant to enhance gameplay. (Filling out unfinished classes, filling out holes in a spec)

Arcane Surge at least has a 2 minute cooldown. It makes it strong for duels or high priority kill targets in BG’s, but since running it typically means running burnout for the extra crit chance and spellpower for the damage, at least the Surge Mages can’t heal themselves typically.

As someone killed by it many times, I’m actually 100% okay with it.

If it wants to keep that damage, it should probably go to a 5 min CD.

It’s entirely capable of oneshotting a player with no interaction, and it’s INSTANT.

(Also, if it’s anything like Shammy rage, they can just have pants with the rune on there to switch to before the fight, delete the opponent, and switch them back off after the mana regen buff is completed.)

I honestly think that any rune with a CD, that slot is on cd for that duration. If you swap pants for Sham Rage, you don’t get your Way of Earth effect back when you immedaitely swap back until the 1m cooldown is up.

But unfortunately, yes, you can jsut swap pants.

That said, to deal the damage you’re talking about, mages have to sac their entire mana bar. For the same damage as a SWD or Pre-nerf Starsurge. I say it’s fine as is.

Feels the same as an ele sham honestly. Get hard focused every fight by 2 balanced shadow step rogues and get no help. Wonder why I wasn’t casting, hmm…

Imagine if people didn’t cry about how strong disc was in p1 to get them nerfed and instead cried about how bad other healers were so they’d be buffed. Maybe, just maybe, there would be more healers in this game.

You don’t need healers for the even anyway. I got 1300 coins in one run, just scored another 800, def worth while. Healers and dps die about the same amount of time.

Had a blood moon last night where the boss spawned at gurubashi… So everyone in the entire zone is rezzing entirely on a narrow strip of road surrounded by lvl 44mobs. It was insufferable for all.

Lavaburst has pretty much close to always killed someone by itself, its the trademark of that damn spell. It hurts but I accept it

As a resto druid we get No weapon and No ring :frowning: We have basically nothing from the pvp event other than a crappy cloak

healing in the event is trash anyway just get 5 dps and focus zug

If only there was a stat they could put on pvp gear that would help mitigate the burst :thinking:
