Hi I am playing in server Barthilas from Oceania server (Playing from Australia) since last month, using Simplified Chinese client of WoW.

However I found an error message when I launched the game today,
saying "您尝试登录的服务器语言类型与客户端不符“, which means “The language of the server you are trying to log in is different from your WoW client.”

and I am stuck in the selecting server screen.

The game client worked fine in Simplified Chinese in the past and I have never encountered this error message before. The update seems to have launched in China as well so I am wondering what changed and whether I can still play Barthilas in Simplified Chinese?

(I have been trying to search online and change the config.wtf file but with no luck)

Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like we broke this with a patch recently, but reverted it. It should now be fixed. If you still have this issue, please ensure that your WoW client is updated fully. If you still can’t log in using Chinese as a text language, please reinstall your game client.
