I have a completely empty charter neighborhood that I’m tied down with as the owner and there is no way to delete / disband it. I can not figure out how to remove it, as it is preventing me from faction changing my character. Please help me.
Transfer ownership and u can factiin change.
It is impossible to transfer ownership. There is no one in the charter. How do I go about transfering, I want to delete it.
Transfer it to a alt.

it does not work this way. It is account wide
I know owning a house can prevent a faction transfer it even says that in the faq thats why i mention it.
Service Restrictions
- You cannot faction change a character that is a house owner. Make a different character the owner by using the House Owner dropdown menu. It is located in House Settings and Permissions
But they do not currently possess a plot or house.
They are the founder of a charter neighborhood, wherein lies the quandary.
Can you invite someone to the Charter Neighborhood and then make them the leader?

To any other unlucky viewers who have the same problem, this was indeed the solution.
I had to pay some poor sap to take the curse off of me, and more importantly, after they took ownership they had to demote me from Manager of the charter.
Only after all that…. was I finally able to faction change. This is an absolutely insane oversight from blizzard, and literally throwing money away.
So TLDR; if you are the OWNER OR MANAGER of a charter neighborhood across your ENTIRE account, you can not faction change any character. Asinine.

Hang on… that doesn’t make any sense. I could understand if the specific character was the owner/manager of a neighborhood, but why would it apply to any character on the entire BNet? I’d think they’d have to specifically program it that way. I don’t see why they’d do that. Are you sure it’s any character on the BNet? Or just the specific character that you’re trying the faction change?
