Not sure if there’s something crucial I’m missing here or if this is bugged. I’ve gotten to Exalted with the Lorewalkers before, back in MoP’s original release, on a character I’ve long-since deleted. Now with housing’s release, I need to earn it again on a new character to be able to purchase decor from the vendors. That’s fine, I’m happy to do it, but therein lies the problem.
Going along collecting the monuments on my new monk character, each one collected isn’t giving me any sort of achievement progress update or anything, and once I confirmed that I’ve gotten all of the monuments in Kun-Lai, I didn’t get any sort of achievement, or anything in the mail to turn in to Cho, nothing. It seems to me like the game is registering that I’ve already completed all of those achievements, and thus isn’t rewarding them again, meaning I can’t gain rep with the Lorewalkers.
Anyone have some insights I might just be missing? Is there a step I failed to do, or is it just actually bugged?
EDIT: I think I’ve figured it out and I think I was just misremembering how things work. While I’m still not getting the “in-progress” updates, I WAS able to complete the Ballad of Liu Liang achievement and got mail from Lorewalker Cho. So I think I just forgot that it’s based on specific achievements for completing each tale, rather than each zone.
