It says servers are back up but I can’t connect to battle.net. It claims I have no internet service, which obviously I do. What is wrong today? how do I get game back up?
I cant connect either. I keep getting this “ERROR #0 (0x85100000( Assertion failure!”

This error seems to be the result of a Nahimic 3D sound software update that Windows automatically installed. Workarounds folk have found are the following.
Use DirectX 11
End the Nahimic process in Task Manager (I would also look for processes called A-Volute)
Disable the Nahimic software in MSI Dragon Control Center.
Uninstall Nahimic (It is bells and whistles 3D surround sound software) If you are uninstalling look for A-Volute software as well. One and the same.
