Tried setting up wipefest, the wipefest end is fine and works with the warcraft logs end, but when I try to link the wipefest account to battle.net the page forwards to a battle.net auth page, freezes for 30 seconds, and then I get:
" Your preference setting for sharing game data and profile information for this Battle.net Account is still being processed. If you want to grant “Wipefest ” access to information about your Battle.net Account, please try again later."
Sharing game data is enabled in account settings, no parental controls or anything are on. The setting is on by default, I’ve never changed it. Battle.net connected to warcraft logs, raiderio, xbox and twitch just fine.
Also, on a potentially related note, in the battle.net privacy settings the page defaults to everything being turned off, but it doesn’t actually block the settings. As in, the bnet account page says chat should be disabled, but it works fine in the bnet application and in wow. The settings then fix themselves after 10-ish seconds.
I also know I’m not the only one having this issue in the last 24 hours, there’s a reddit post about GEForce not connecting either, and a bunch of posts with the same issue with different addons over the last 3 years.
I have tried linking the accounts through different browsers and incognito mode, disabled the phone authenticator, same results every time. As soon as the battle.net auth page is logged into, freeze and error message. It’s been 12-ish hours at this point and the last time I delinked and relinked the RaiderIO and battlenet account is took 3-4 minutes to reset.
