Cannot get into a group

Reading through this entire post has been hysterical. OP is definitely “special.” He’s also the type of individual that won’t be missed by anyone in the community if he unsubs, lol.

Ah well, there is always the “create a Paladin” button. I hear we are supposed to be in a good spot atm.
Unfortunately THe developers can be fickle and you always run the risk of having the new FOTM class getting nerfed hard just as you get it geared for the content you want.

Im sure Warriors will find a spot they shine in once again.

And Warrior DPS has had 2 weeks (one fort and one tyran) to build score already. My Dev Evoker hit 2100 before this week and at like 425 IL almost exclusively using my own key.

Stop making excuses for your own play.

Friends.

If you had them, you wouldn’t ever have to worry about what the pug community was doing.

Frankly, its a skill issue. But you have a point. Here are your statements answered.

  • Warrior get stormbolt. With Incorporeal you need to have a single target CC which most classes have. Mages polymorph, Paladin Repentance. etc etc

  • If you can’t get into keys. Make one yourself

But objectively affixes like this is hard for a “new” player who does not know what affixes are. There should be a “Training Dummy Affix” That helps the playerbase know how to deal with affixes. And not go to a third-party website like Wowhead.

Who TF is looking for 5 classes to deal with incorp?

That mechanic is healer + 1 other DPS and you are good. If a warrior has high ilvl and looks like a pumper I’m inviting, I don’t need 5 people wasting time spamming redundant CC on incorporeals.

Not making excuses dude, I’m almost 2 k io as well.

Also you’re comparing evoker which has lust and a cc.

All I’m saying is it’s really hard to get invites as a warrior.

Would my 1950 MW with a +5 VP dragging its score down been a better example? I can’t see why it would matter either way considering Fury is in almost 50% more keys than Dev, but whatever.

Also, why are we bringing CC up again? I literally put in the post I got there BEFORE this week. I have never talented Sleep Walk until Tuesday so I don’t see how that has any bearing on the point I brought up that you had 2 weeks to build score before this one where you are slightly suboptimal.

Because in the lower pre 2k pug community people don’t know how the game works. All they know is warrior has no hard cc so no inviteZ

For some reason ur now comparing a healer spec with a dps warrior while also comparing high io with low io pugs

Start your own group. I don’t know what to tell you at this point since you keep complaining about not getting invited. Again, I pushed just fine using my own keys since I don’t have this phenomenon GD has where people feel obligated to be invited to others group.

Also I chose the healer as an example because MW has literally half the representation of DPS Warrior in keys and brings even less to the group on an average key because you almost always want Lust or BRez from your healer since 4 of the 6 can bring one of the two.

Start your own groups.

MIC DROP.

You make the rules that way and no feelings get hurt.

Running your own key is so, so important to getting groups imo. You can’t effectively target gear from M+ with your own key, but you can definitely get your Crests capped every week.

I’m not asking for your help lol. I already know what I have to do. I just noticed the difference between playing my enhance shaman and arms warrior.

My shammy would get invited in less than 5 minutes while my war can take hours.

If you use the Premade Group Finder addon, you can see the specs of the ppl in groups you’re signing up for. You can even filter out groups that already have a warrior.

I’m gonna be straight with you.

If you like M+, and want to pug, you need to reroll. Warrior was already non-meta due to limited utility and Incorp just pushed it further down the list.

Ret Pally is currently very good, very fun, and handles all of the seasonal affixes with complete ease. I’d recommend that.

Or quit paying Blizzard for a game you can’t enjoy 1/3 of the time. Your call, good luck.

Group leaders who are too bad/lazy to deal with it themselves, and also think that all the other people that they invited might be just as bad/lazy, if not more so.

This is entirely a bad player playing with other bad players problem.

Oh no there’s a week warriors aren’t the play whatever shall we do?

I feel like you’re right about this one.

Perhaps though, the affix is too punishing for bad players? It does seem like a lot of them are crying on the forums. If you don’t CC it causes a wipe REAL QUICK.

I like the fundamental idea of the affix, but perhaps there is a way to nerf it so it isn’t as punishing in lower keystone levels?

Maybe a good fix would be to increase the time in between casts.

A lot of bad groups probably don’t even notice the adds are up until the cast hits the entire group. Maybe give the mob like a 3-4 second break in between casts or something, that way bad groups can potentially notice that the mob has spawned and recovery is possible on lower keys?

It wouldn’t really change much on super high keys. A single cast would still be devastating if you are pushing your limits as a group and the key is tight.

Idk, a lot of people are crying, and I agree it’s a bad player issue, but it’s not like I want bad players to just have a horrible experience.

So, how do you get to 429 with a 1700 io score in two weeks…

correct! :sunglasses:
