Canceled sub. Goodbye until multiboxing is back with full glory

If I am going to be doing dailys where the objective counts for the whole party, why would I drag my gfs character behind me and double the gold yield without doing anything? FME add on made it convenient, but /target /follow macros still enable it just hurts the few who did it legit as opposed to botting.

weird flex

I don’t mean to be rude when I say this, but no one cares if your gf follows you and then afks while you do quests for her.

Now if you’re admitting to account sharing right now, probably shouldn’t. That’s also against the tos.

Some interesting observations of your post. Id just like to mention, Goodnight Moon does not have a plot. Instead, it describes the going to bed ritual of a small bunny, who surveys all the objects of its surrounding green room and then bids goodnight to each object in turn. The bunny is being put to bed by an elderly bunny who is not identified as anything other than a “quiet old lady,” but seems to be either a grandmother or a doting and kindly nanny.

Keyword there is ‘might’ - it’s been over 2 years now. Has it? Answer: No
In fact we’ve lost more subs as a result of placing unnecessary restrictions on multiboxers. All because of ‘beliefs’ not ‘reality’ nor ‘data’ to suggest that placing restrictions on multiboxers makes the game ‘better’. It doesn’t. In fact it’s the opposite that happens. People see less actual players in the game and think (believe) the game is dying. Never realizing that part of that reason is because of the restrictions placed on the multiboxing play style.

And the game was worse off for it.

Good for them.

You have clearly been sniffing your own farts for way too long. People don’t like them for a myriad for reasons. Personally, I hate them because they utterly destroy the gaming experience for solo players. Having to constantly compete with them for farming. Flooding the markets with artificially cheap goods.

But honestly, you players are some of the most arrogant I have ever ran into. The fact some of you even BRAGGED about not having to pay for your 10+ accounts because you were farming so much. Completely tapping nodes and acting like it was no issue. The fact some of you argued that it was actually GOOD for the economy. lol.

Good riddance. Single best decision Blizzard has ever made.

So you agree the game had more players/subs during the time when there were no restrictions and (without providing any data) the game was some how ‘worse’ off for it? Worse or better is pure opinion. Has nothing to do with data or what you can actually measure. Subs are what measures whether a game is better or worse. By your reasoning, WoW is the worst MMO because it had far more subs (people playing) than any other MMO BY FAR until shortly after the ban on input broadcasting software which lead to a different MMO that had no restrictions on input broadcasting nor /follow or anything else on multiboxing, FFXIV. FFXIV ONLY passed WoW after restrictions were placed on multiboxers. Yet some how WoW is better with less players complaining the game is ‘dead’. Ok, got it!

Multiboxxers are annoying as all hell. Stay gone & good riddance.

Factual statement

(post deleted by author)

So you are basically saying that because of the subscriptions lost with the actions that were taken by Blizzard against multiboxing they should bring it back instead of making the game better… You literally don’t care about the quality of the game and you are only thinking about yourself. No one needs you in Wow. Good riddance!

More accounts doesn’t equal more players.

It is and it’s overwhelmingly the correct one.

You seriously most know nothing about business.

Subs are one criteria of success. Longevity is another. Value per customer is another.

That’s the part that you folks don’t understand. Lots of players that only have ONE account are willing to invest a lot to make their experience positive. They aren’t just paying the typical $15. They are buying transfer and mounts and other services. They might also be buying merch and attending real events. ALL OF THAT hinges on having a fun and fair environment to play in. When you’re getting one shot because 10 boomkins just flew past you for the 10th time to farm a node near you ISN’T a good experience. When you logging in to a PvP zone and you lag out because some 40 man multi-boxer is farming… that isn’t a good experience. When you can’t find ANY herbs because a multiboxer is tapping every node… THAT ISN’T a good experience.

This is the laughable arrogance you players have. You’re so in the dark.

Guess what bud, they stopped allowing it because it was DETRIMENTAL to the game. Do you understand that? The reality was the problem was ignored for years because they were making more money from it. But things changed. Multiboxers abused farming. They abused those channels to make gold. They were paying for all their accounts with tokens and the markets suffered for it. Player experience suffered for it.

Blizzard took note and made a change. In the end, they were worse off for the game. This isn’t debatable. If they were a net positive, they would still be in the game.
