You could actually only have 9 characters per server in OG TBC. Wrath brought it up to 10. Sounds like you just never played TBC.

they had the choice originally to play alliance and they had absolutely no interest in it, i don’t think it’d be any different if they were offered alliance transfers, certainly not enough to swing like 70:30 queueing disparities
Exactly. It’s like the “Dual Spec will fix tanks” debacle. Everyone comes up and speaks like they have 100% proof that it will fix things and all their problems will magically fade away. Just like every warrior suddenly wanting to tank for anyone other than themselves when they can’t get a tank will happen, every single Horde member will gather around and coordinate who will go over so they can have instant queues for both sides. I don’t know if they are naive or just have a lot of faith in humanity.
What floors me is they see what all had to be done in retail and the solutions in some cases were a hot dumpster fire of a solution, and only because a feature once implemented and used can’t just be taken away they clamor like it was a huge success. Truly mind boggling.

I cancelled today as well, retail is a dumpster fire, I liked classic but lets face it we’ve been here and done this before, I also hate the boosting gold buying that creates huge imbalances and makes it impossible to keep up unless you cheat.
What other games are people moving to other than Final Fantasy

You expect Blizz to ‘fix’ a long standing design choice or two in a legacy expansion that comes free with another sub?
It depends on what you want to do.
My experience sounds similar to yours. Hit 70 on Wednesday (damn work screwed me out of launch playtime). Quested my brains out for epic flight (still haven’t touched SMV) and broke now, did lots of dungeons so gear is decent and I’ve got some heroics unlocked although I haven’t touched em yet. Pretty much ready to go slay Kara content other than I need to work on preparing consumables. Having a blast.
…buuuuuuuuuut I won’t pretend that the PvP situation doesn’t sound awful right now. And the tank shortage is real, but I don’t know what Blizzard can do about that.

Doubt this will be fixed, but since they added boosting I don’t see why this isn’t possible either.
Would have to transfer all your Horde toons since you can’t have the opposite faction while playing the other on the same realm unless you want this changes as well.

Because it all was fresh. i think BCC would be a bigger deal if all started fresh like how classic released.
They should merge all BCC servers together pve/pve and pvp/pvp. and add the layering that so many thinks is great. and make a few fresh servers or full reset the dead ones and see what type brings in the $$.
So turn classic servers into retail servers to avoid everyone to going to retail? I’m not sure i like that idea
