Canadian Bacon > Reg Bacon

Canadian bacon is just ham tho

If you can find delis still open. Many have closed down (locally) due to Corona.

Canadian bacon is made of Maple Syrup, there is actually no pork in that stuff.

I add chorizo to this when i make it.

you mean… ham… it’s ham

It’s two entirely different things
I like both and can’t say one is better
Now comparing turkey to pork bacon, pork

ive lifted weights two times in my life now. Once I was vegan and the other time I ate meat. I feel so much better on the vegan diet and have more endurance and this ready to go feeling when im eating tons of fresh fruits and veggies. On the meat diet I feel ready to go kinda but not really but it has similar results other than the better feeling the vegan diet gives. there is tons of ways to get protein in a vegan diet. just grab some vegan tofu-filled product and you could get up to 40g of protein if you eat the whole bag.

regular bacon reigns supreme

I do feel bad about eating meat, but I am also weak when it comes to food/diet habits. My attention and energy is already spread as thin as tissue paper and I just don’t need another thing to think about. Is that a valid excuse? Probably not, but that’s where things sit for me currently.

That said, once plant-based and lab-grown alternatives have become convincing and cover the whole meat product spectrum, I will switch to those with enthusiasm and never look back.

I actually tend to prefer turkey (depending on brand) because it’s so much less fatty, and the flavor isn’t all that different (it’s more seasoning than the meat itself).

This is one of my issues with going vegan, actually. Before covid hit, I was working out 3x a week and keeping myself satisfied and nourished was hard enough even as an omnivore (I have to push to make sure I consume enough calories each day) and most vegan-ish meals left me feeling full but quite unsatisfied. I’m sure it’s possible to work around that if one puts more attention and energy into mealtime, but as noted earlier in this post I really don’t have the will or energy to spare for that.

A good balance between the two diets is the way to go for me!
I hate tofu… and i don’t want to eat insects either…

Urg yeah. I’m not great with tofu either, but I’m sure there’s some way to deep fry it or something and make it taste decent. Bugs though? Yeah no thanks I’m good, I’ll get my protein some other way lol.

Why, thank you!

Gobbles bacon.

no.

lol what gave you that idea?

a muffin and a crumpet are completely different food items.

a muffin is bread, and a crumpet is … a rubbery thing full of holes.

For me it depends, I’m very picky about my bacon. If the bacon is good I think it’s better than Canadian bacon. If not, then canadian bacon wins.

Yes indeed good sir. Oh I wish I had time to bake a potato. Mmmmmm.

Canadian here. We don’t, what is called “Canadian Bacon” in America is just ham. We do have Back Bacon or Peameal Bacon which is like bacon but with a piece of the loin
