The Quantum Courser can’t award either of the old ZG mounts. Only 5-man instance drops. Old ZG was a raid so it’s ineligible on that alone, but Blizz likely would not have put them on the list even if raid drops were included.
As an aside, it’s funny to think that any thought of adding the old ZG mounts to another source is probably thwarted by them being on the BMAH. If another source was put back into the game, I imagine it’d be on par with how T3 gear can now be ‘crafted’ again, but at a price that makes the BMAH the cheaper option.
Also note: if someone’s ego is soooo fragile that they need pixels to validate their existence, if you have “an original” ZG Tiger, you also have a time-stamped Achv that says that.
So when you’re standing next to some pleeb that merely bought theirs off the BMAH, you can link your Achv to prove your superior status of “having the original.”
Seriously… after 5 years, bring it all back. Five years is enough time to brag about your pixel epeen. The method for acquisition doesn’t have to be as simple as just buying it from a vendor, but somehow, someway… bring it back.
If you REALLY feel to the need to show off, the Achv system already does that. It proves “you were there.”
Bring it all back.
And no, I’m not just a bitter person who missed out. I’m a top 10 collector for everything-- mounts, pets, toys, xmog … I HAVE IT ALL. And I’m saying: bring it all back.

Not any different than the dumb number of other mounts that can still be obtained three different ways in the game. Specifically BMAH dungeon mounts that are still obtainable in their respective dungeons and the courser as well.
While true, it’s important to keep in mind the different dyanmics here. Those other mounts were available as drops prior to the BMAH, and continued to be available as drops after being added to the BMAH. It’s different to add something to the BMAH that’s already available, versus something being unobtainable until it’s added to the BMAH.
Again, we can see this with how they implemented the return of T3 to Naxxramas. It’s not simply available as drops or lootables, there’s also a significant time and/or gold cost associated with acquiring it, since the only other method is the BMAH. I maintain that regardless of how something was originally obtainable, if its only current source is the BMAH, the writing’s on the wall that it’s either going to remain that way or is going to roughly match the T3 implementation with any alternative acquisition method.

It really shouldn’t be happening at all, especially when there’s multiple ways to obtain them already.
I don’t care if they make the Tiger obtainable in some other way. I did the gold cap bmah sweat and got it so that’s behind me. I just think it’s stupid to keep stuffing the BMAH with things that are already in the game and further watering down the rotation. As if panda recipes and Ordos necks weren’t bad enough.
Welp there maybe a chance to get the Zulian tiger from either Twitch drop or Prime drop…or even the Trading post…
You seem to be lacking achievements for most of the common things people want back, like PvP rewards and CM stuff. You sure you have it all?
I mean… for all the time you spent trying to up your internet-snark game for what I don’t have, you obviously didn’t take the time to look what I do have.
Chasing #1/top5 is to be a slave to the game, pour inordinate amount of money into it, or both. That’s not my style. I’m fine to be “merely top10’ish.”
I dabble in PvP from time to time, but I mostly avoid it for the laughable dumpster fire that it is. So no… don’t expect me to have much in the way of “PvP things.” But I never claimed I would.
About the only CM stuff I skipped was MoP and … there was a reason for that. Didn’t really do M+ in BfA, but I did in SL and DF.
For every Achv/item you claim “I’m lacking”, I have ten others in other categories.

All I know is you could get it for a LOoooooNg time. So while it’s mathematically possible someone just had the baddest of bad luck… as Nobully said, it’s highly improbable if we’re to take that claim at face value of “someone ran it every single reset.”
Edit: that added bit at the end of “never had a CHANCE to roll on it” implies the person ONLY ran it during Vanilla. Because after that, you would be solo’ing it, you didn’t need to a “CHANCE to roll on it.”
But w/e… the claim is very dubious.

Maybe it can drop from Murozond’s Rise? I got Rivendare’s Steed (Deathcharger’s Reins) that way.
Granted, they only had one character because they refused to “invest time in characters they didn’t care about” but I can see why you’d be skeptical.
