You are not forced to pvp or pve
In classic people were not forced to pvp. There were pvp servers and pve servers. And if you wanted to turn warmode on or off you had to reroll.
And these other ally players should turn wm off as well untill it is worth for them to turn it back on. If the wm system forces a faction imbalance then that should be the thing to get fixed.

I can think of a hundred things I would rather do than be forced to PvP in this game, including unsubbing permanently.
PvP in this game is atrocious and boring at best, frustrating and annoying at worst.
The easiest way to help fix the faction imbalance in war mode: remove all PvE benefits. No XP bonus etc. Then the faction that outnumbers would have less people that are freeloading in warmode.
And the faction that is outnumbered will have no incentive to participate.
The time to argue against the PvE XP Bonus would have been before it was implemented. And quite frankly I think that discussion did take place but Blizzard did not listen?
A person is only as forced to play PVP or PVE as they so choose to play. Itâs a personal choice, not a forced choice, given that there are only two options.
I thought there were Normal and PVP servers on Classic. Did that change recently?
A game is supposed to be for enjoyment in my opinion. I wouldnât find enjoyment nor would I feel that my money is worth it. If I had to partake in forced content just so others might not âsufferâ.
If that was ever the case, I would take my money and invest it somewhere else.

The opposite being the special ones that want Warmode discontinued. Like the ones that itâs simply not enough to turn WM off, bc they want the rewards for it being on without it even existing or something lol.

Pretty much, people discussed it then and the conclusion is that what would happen did happen. Because it had already happened on PvP servers where the faction balance inevitably slipped into one direction. So at this point either blizz needs to go free for all except in group⌠or end the factions.
Exactly my opinion.
Let those who like wpvp practice their activity and those who donât, continue to live their lives as they wish.

Instead of removing Warmode which is amazing, Blizzard should do like Soviet Russia and remove YOU!
On Emerald Dream I level with warmode on. Have I been handled? Yes. When I was on my 120 gnome warrior, was I killed? Yes. What did I do,? If itâs a fight I can win, I fight. If itâs a fight I canât, I escape and move on to another area. If that doesnât work, I turn it off and then go back to what I was doing.
Same thing had happened to me in both horde and Alliance. With warmode you have the option to participate. Donât remove that choice. It makes for worse gameplay.
