If you disagree, take it to Cambridge.
They never used the word committed though, you’re adding that yourself.
Announcement: a formal public statement about a fact, occurrence, or intention.
Keyword intention.
Under the ToS, their intentions can change at anytime for any and or/no reason, again doesn’t make it a promise.
So far Blizz never has, most likely never will promise anything.

This is every card they changed. They all got censored in some way.

It’s due to pressure from China. They also changed a bunch of cards that showed some cleavage.
are we sure its the chinese doing this? their culture just doesnt seem hung up about female body parts. this sounds like something else.

We are not.
But china banned a bunch of games because of “revealing female characters”, so it’s possible.
It’s also possible that Hearthstone may be trying to replace their T rating with an E rating to get a broader target audience.
oh, this seems more likely. so the future for adults is, we’re all gonna be stuck playing kids games …to save money. do you believe that? are they really trying to make us all into small children?

Personally I don’t mind the Succubus > Felhunter change, simply because in Hearthstone Felhounds are typically associated with the Discard effect (Howlfiend, Lakkari Felhound, Tiny Knight of Evil).
Not that discarding was ever really a relevant mechanic (except for one brief glorious moment in Rastakhan’s Rumble where Discard Warlock cracked like 40% Win-Rate and then had all it’s relevant cards rotated and hall of famed), but it feels a bit better thematically.
I don’t really buy that it’s improving the card art either. Some are definitely higher quality, like the Felstalker and Bite, but in many cases they’ve just replaced bad with bad. Eviserate is still the same old crappy art, only with the blood removed and Windfury somehow looks even lower in quality.
one day in the not too distant future, it’ll be illegal to play video games with violence, skin showing, hair showing, then it’ll be illegal to depict women of any kind, or hear their voices, or their high heels, nor see them on the street, at the store, in the market, on tv, on the internet, at work, on games, at school. they’ll be locked in their homes and this will be progress for women
by then, probably just replace us all with obedient robots. then it’ll be illegal to be born female. its almost been that bad at a couple times in the ancient past, though probably not for the same reasons

bit of trivia
at one point, the chinese killed so many of their newborn females, referring to them as maggots in the rice , that their population of men with no families grew to dangerous proportions. men without families to care for or about, become a threat to political power. so the moral of the story is, sometime after they eradicate females, they’ll eradicate each other.

I don’t think the CEO is interested in making personal promises to you. Not for the low low price that you pay.
So no, nobody will make you that promise.
Mine country they had a issue with the succubus due to it be classified as +7 age game.
Won’t happen if Islam becomes a global religion.
It’s not going to get censored.
Not only did they upgrade the model into what it is now, but even if Chinese censorship was the reason behind the Hearthstone changes (Spoiler: It isn’t), WoW for most of the world wouldn’t be affected as the Chinese have their own WoW client for changes like these.
