Oh I can read fine - you think doing world quests is boring but for some reason you are forced to do them for rep and so in order for you to stop having to do them, you want blizzard to increase the rep rewards. Does that about sum it up ?
- Learn what force means.
- Where in this thread have I said I am forced to do them? Huh?
Wouldnât have been an issue if they didnât lock Allied Races behind a exalted reputation grind that takes months. When you only receive 75 reputation on average from World Quest and the Emissary shows up 1 time per 7 to 11 days, canât fault folks for being upset.
You are acting like you are forced to do them.
If you donât enjoy something, why else would you do them.
What unlocks Allied Races? One of the selling points of BfA.
That is optional.
The expansion is optional too. Weak argument.
It sure is but if someone doesnât enjoy doing something why the heck are they doing it. It wonât matter if blizzard increases the rep, they still wonât like doing it, it will just make getting whatever the heck they want faster. And surely given their stance on rep for allied races previously, that canât be what they are after.
If I can get exalted rep on 5 characters already with just doing 4 quests a day on them, how the heck is getting rep for an allied race too hard/too slow/too much of a grind.
If you got exalted on 5 characters, how about you prove it to us before making such claims.
Will you stop complaining if I do ?
Not a good counter to the argument here.
I am not complaining. Youâre once again, assuming that I am. But no, your trolling is what is overtaking your thinking.
Yeah, I know, but he said it, and has to post on a level 44, so who is really going to take anyone seriously with that?
It sounds like you are complaining. However, regardless, lets put it this way, if I prove I have exalted rep on 5 characters will you stop asking blizzard to make the game easier for you.
Because to get to said content they want to do, they have to unlock it through a grind that takes months. I donât like doing World Quests. I hate them. You know what I do like though? Raiding and dungeons. Thatâs what keeps me playing the game outside of my guild. Why couldnât we get reputation for doing Dungeons and Raiding? Why force it down the single more uninteresting aspect of the game, World Quests?
The issue is, itâs anti-consumer to lock something like this behind a grind this long. Thereâs already reputation achievements and if they were so enjoyable doing, Iâm sure a lot of the player base would have them but they donât.
Remember, the issue and argument here is its a slog to do. Why would you force someone to do something they donât want to do, to unlock said thing, just to go back and redo the same content to get back to where theyâre at now.
Allied Races being locked being Exalted is a horrible idea. Itâs unnecessary time gating that shouldnât exist. If they really wanted folks to âearn their trustâ why canât completing the story line for the area and reached revered been enough? Itâs not hard to see that logging in to do World Quest is not engaging.
Doesnât matter if you think it is too hard or slow but to dismiss the fact that it takes weeks, months really, to unlock content that players bought the expansion for? Thatâs just trolling and being spiteful using the âI did and so can you argumentâ
I did some numbers in another thread arguing how the grind is anti-consumer. This is excluding the Emissary that shows up 1 time per 7 - 11 days. The buff for reputation grinding, that you can buy from the Auction House or when the Dark Moon Fair is here, only adds 10 reputation, I didnât factor that in either.
Oh dear lord, now I am asking for the game to be easier?
125 and 250 for all world quests is far too much, at most I could get behind doubling the 75 on elite to 150.
Increasing the rep from 75 to whatever does make it âeasierâ to complete. Are you seriously going to say differently.
I kinda agree on that, more to a 250 level.
Hey, it sure is going to feel good when we get all the rep tho? Be patient my friend because it sure beats that gold grind I had to do back in vanilla.
If it doesnât feel nice to go grind for something now, Iâm still going to look back at it and say I hated it then and will in the future. Times have changed since Vanilla.
