It’s like 6 hours until planned down time… If it’s important enough to fix why not do it on Thursday when we had the last unscheduled maintenance? Reminder that cheaper games are suffering due to inflation and pricing and WoW is by far the most expensive. It’s also down by far the most of any game I’ve seen.

Some of y’all never played Final Fantasy 11 in the 00’s and it shows.
Back then, during a major patch release, the game would be down for 48-72 hours.
FFXI came out around the same time as WoW - so comparing it to WoW is the best option, rather than FF14 that is relatively new and is built on more modern coding at its core.

WoW has far more downtime than FFXIV and ESO.
How often did they patch? Doubt it was once (3x) a week…
They have added recently new data centers in each region and including servers for each region. They are not laggy and have downtime as much as Blizzard
servers.
So am I…I never once had that occur. What were you doing, cooking pizzas on them?

That was just the way NES games were when they got old…and don’t even get me started about what I had to deal with with my old Atari games…
It’s a brand new expansion, this is normal. If it’s to expensive for you to play to can go play candy crush. Maybe try a F2P game that spams you with MTX adds constantly.

wait you gave 20 bucks for an expansion 8 years after it was release? You mean to tell me you got a discount on old content nearly a decade after its original release? I must contact management; I was obviously ripped off in 2008

It’s not brand new… It’s been in beta for like 5 months and prod for over a month and a half… At what point is wow not a “new” games and can be held to standards we hold every other game?
